Default Installed my hotchkis springs today!!

So after trying to fight with the rear springs for a half hour i figured out a really easy way to get the springs on without using spring compressors. The problem is that the hotchkis springs have very tightly wound progressive coils that make them hard to fit a spring compressor on them. So don't know if anyone has tried this yet or not but i just put the shock assembly back into the car completely togehter except for the top washer and nut. Then i used a jack to compress the suspension and then put the nut on from the inside of the car. I know its not the proper way it should be done but it took me about 15-20 minutes tops to do the passenger side spring.

I saw on the automotive shows on Spike that they used a jack to compress the springs to unbolt everything, then slowly lowered it and vice versa.

you're not the only one that jacked the shock housing into the car to compress the spring. Its pretty much the only way to do it.
