Hi All,
After months of research and difficult decision making I bought a used '05 xB and for the moment I couldn't be happier.
Everything just kinda fell in place. The car was super clean (one owner I presume), low mileage, the color that I wanted (TCM) and came with extended warranty (7yr/100k mi) was icing on the cake. Not to mention stuff that I wouldn't have paid to have put on but I'm not going to take off like neon, spoiler, cold air intake, auto dimming mirror with compass and outside temp, rear bumper cover, weathertech ventvisors, and armrest.
However there were a few things I needed the dealer to do:
1) reattach the rear view mirror - I guess it had the windshield replaced and since it's an aftermarket mirror they needed to glue it to the windshield. It took them a day to track down a part.
2) fix low buzzing noise at idle - turns out the cold air intake was rubbing against something and they simply readjusted it
3) missing lug wrench - when i bought the car i noticed the jack, and tools where thrown in the trunk. when i figured out where everything went i realized the lug wrench was missing so they have one on order from me.
 Stick with me... here's where it gets strange...
4) the car has rear floor mats and the trunk mat but NO front mats. The original invoice I found in the glove box shows the previous owner paid for them. The dealer says I'm out of luck and have to order them. Which also means I will have an extra set of rear mats (dumb).
5) the passenger headrest was loose - the service guy told me it's not even a scion headrest! what the heck?! who would go and do that?! why?! he said it's from a toyota but not a scion headrest so I can't adjust it, it just slides up and down freely! Annoying! He told me it's like $300 for a new headrest -gah!
What do you all think?
