should i have traction control on for everyday driving even when it's wet out??does anybody have diamond plate floor mats for their xb??do they have a lip around them to capture water on rainy days??

I would not have traction control all the time, it limits the power the the wheels. Only when there is bad conditions like rain or snow would I have it on.

I have seen a member with plated mats, Ghost is her name.. I will look for a link

you can leave the Traction Control on all the time. It doesn't limit the power to the wheels until the wheels actually start to slip. as long as the wheels aren't slipping, the traction control isn't really "on". the only time you would want it off would be when you want to "spin" the tires. like when you are stuck and want to rock it back and forth or if you want to do a cheesy burnout.

traction control has ZERO functionality UNLESS the light on the dash is flashing... otherwise it is completely dormant... ALWAYS leave it on, you won't have a chance to flip is on when you REALLY need it...

i agree! i'm a young stupid driver and there have been a few rainy days when traction control has kept me from scuffing my rims against a curb or just spinning my front tires when trying to start on a hil ( i drive a 5 speed). Also, i think its kind of cool...i experimented with it on an empty parking lot in a downpour, and i like it...It even beeps when things get really out of control. Kinda like my xB is a jet airplane lol :)
