Hey guys... just try to keep it clean and simple. Just list what you dont like about your tC. for me... i just hate it cuz i dont have it yet. LOL! im in the process of getting one. So what do you guys hate about your tC?

 

This damn red light that began to stay on after the other night... Looks like the Seat Belt light but has a ball in front of it. >_O

 

that non of the aftermarket intakes are carb legal for the tc.

 

overall the tC is a nice car and pretty fun to drive.... aside from the RPM's hanging around between shifts..... not a problem if youre buying an auto.

 

oh wow... it has the rev hang problem too? i wonder if maybe enough people complain about it and maybe scion can have a reflash done for the rev hang problem. i know that 06 SI have this problem too and they have the reflash for it to fix the problem.

what other things you hate about the car? lets keep the aftermarket problems out of here for now. im just more curious about what you have about the car.. ie. the glass from the sunroof that might shatter if it gets hit by a pebble or something. or maybe the car can come with a stiffer suspension.

 

the truck rattles, and the radio door rattles. I hate that intertior get mesed up so earily

 

yes, for the enthusiast crowd, I think the suspension should have been stiffer. But the car wasnt meant to be thrown around corners so.......

 

also, i think the engine idle is kinda loud, sound like a bad timing belt or something.

i have a 2007 scion tc. is that normal?
you can hear it in the car, but if u stand outside, u can hear it ticking or something.. no too bad tho

 

The fugly amber backlighting on everything.

But that's getting changed ASAP.

i hate how there is no manual hatch release.

say you only hit the unlock button once to open your doors then your in the car with the key in the ignition listening to your music playing with the stereo. then you decide you need to go in the trunk to make an adjustment on your amp you have to take the key out of the ignition and hit the unlock button again to unlock the hatch. it's not a huge deal but it kinda ____es me off.

 

I don't like tC's riding quality (yeah, I used to drive camry before my tC lol), but maybe it's because of bigger wheels.

 

what? just unlock the doors, that unlocks the hatch. unless that doesnt happen on the 07's....

 

I hated how the center console armrest was really rough and would tear up my elbow.

 

I hate the rattles, i hate the gearing, and i hate that center console.. i bang my elbow against it shifting into 4th and 2nd... but all the other good aspects of the tC make up for it.. kinda

 

No, you can unlock the hatch with the unlock button in the 07, I have one and it works fine.

 

Stock suspension & ORANGE gauges!

 

i hate the:

1- rattle from the hatch area
2- missing manual hatch release from the back ( i have to run to front door and hit unlock again)
3- look at the mounts for your sun visors...why am i staring at a silver screw head?? that should be capped.
4- my knee hurts...the way i drive in the automatic, my left knee kind of slops to the side to rest on the door. only it lines up perfectly with the chrome looking circle at the bottom of the door handle. rest your knee on that hard piece of plastic for a while and it is a major pain. completely non-functional stupid ring. but hey, it looks cool.
5 - missing extra light in the hatch area. the one on the left side isn't bright enough in the dark
6 - missing light in glovebox
7- the light they included, under the cubby is useless, annoying and can't be dimmed
8 - cheap ___ cruise control 'stick'. i hate sticks. it should be on the steering wheel controls, like on my nissan.

Just press "unlock" button twice every time you get in the car(you may want to open your hatch later), that's what I do

 

It's a difficult question. I don't hate anything on my tC. I would've gotten a different color interior, if it was an option.
I don't like black interior.
