It is a little brighter but the white light makes it seem like it's hella bright. After 2 months they burnt out though. velocitybb 07-27-2004, 02:36 AM I would go with the JDM headlight bulbs!!! I got the silver stars, and to me, it doesn't seem bright at all. You'll pay a little more, but its worth it if you want it to be kinda bright. steve_k 07-28-2004, 04:25 AM jdm bulb?? JDM bulb I guess they are Raybrig, PIAA, RAZO, and other Japanese manufacture Tell you the truth, go with cheap one if you want to white color I personaly don't think those $60~$100 bulb are any better otherthan last a little longer. Offer ends 9/03/04 http://www.sylvania.com/business/news/pdfs/silverstar-5-rebate.pdf underESTIMATED 08-30-2004, 01:57 AM Not to threadjack here, but honestly... I've bought my yellow headlight bulbs from Summit Racing, and everyone in my local area seems to think that my bulbs are the brightest bulbs out. They are a hotter bulb, which burns hotter thus brighter. But I think I paid $30/pair. www.summitracing.com If you don't see the bulbs on their site, give them a call directly. I think my bulbs were like 90low/100high. I'll have to check my civic tomorrow to make sure. Just another route to go. Maicca 09-06-2004, 07:16 PM The Silverstars definitely turn the color more towards BLUE, which produces a "cooler" look as well as making roadsigns reflect more. For me, they produce an annoying glare :x I'd use the Phillips Xtravision. |
