[size=18]Supp... im thinkin about geting a 2007 tc for my first car but im not positive yet i really love the way they look but i here to much smack about people sayin how sluggish they are...im not worried about top speed i just like to accelerate fast...but i wanna kno the top 5 things yall love about your tc and why???

top 5 things i love about the tC
1. Not having to worry that im not going to make it to my destination
2. The way everyone looks at the tC
3. The very comfortable interior
4. How I didn't have to remortgage my house to buy it, and keep up with it
5. The ease and fun of modifying it

 

Well, if it's acceleration that you want, then the tC is the car for you. It has a very strong low power band and is very torquey. I'm not going to list my Top 5 things that I like about the tC, but I will recommend the tC for you.

 

price, you get a whole lot for your buck
style, looks great
reclining rear seats, even tho i dont sit back there
the large amount of trunk space with the rear seats folded down
great all around car

 

youre 15 y.o. and like to accelerate fast huh? Whats your definition of fast?
Things I like about the tC:
1. My g/f enjoys it.
2. Price for the amount of goodies
3. Not too heavy on insurance
4. Toyota reliabilty, with a 9.6:1 compression, if unmolested the engine may last forever!
5. Adequate acceleration

 

def. of fast would prolly be just beatin my friends 4cyl 1998 accord sedan off a start and then passin the a$$hole on the highway when i gun it at 60...plus when i drive my dads ____ty a$$ camry it ____es me off when i need to pass some one and the throttle response is like half a minute?....so if the tc has good throttle response to then id be satisfied

Are you planning to get a manual or auto? And 98 Accord sedan? Thats your goal? I used to beat those in my Civic! So your father has a Camry........... do you know the relationship between the tC and Camry?

oh, a bit unfair to compare a regular 13 yo car with a modern day regular car.
And no, the tC doesnt have great response. If you want good throttle and transmission response, get a used Honda.... seriously!

you'll see from time to time that the newbs come on here saying they want to beat ??? and they want to know if an intake can help them beat someone. You'll also find that about 80% of the peeps on here are against street racing. Stop watching fast and the furious and take it to the track if you want to race!

 

^ Agreed, I see to many posts of people wrecking their tCs because of going too fast or street racing. Modding=Good, Street Racing=Bad.

... i suggest getting a Mongoose BMX bike... the throttle response is great and the best part about it is that.. since you're 15.. it'll be the coolest thing on the block.. how bout we worry about getting a license before we decide on a car, huh?

and.. good chances are that if ur dad drives a 1993 camry, that if he does buy a tC, ull be driving htat camry...

Seriously, I think Scion should install detonation devices in our tCs so that if you try to street race BOOM

you're done. Then rice should shower down on the road everywhere as a joke.
