Default trade in car for a tc ?

I have read all the post already so don't flame me. I currenty have 03 tiburon v6gt, 6-speed, CAI, and a few app. mods to help it look better. I have about 50,000 miles on it. I still get a lot of great comittes about it, but I been thinking about trading it in for a tc. I know they stack up pretty much the same, with the tibby beinmg a little bit faster. I'm going tonight to test drive a tc, any advise for me before I go. Like what to expect?

You will find that the tC is faster thanks to the gearing and torque, and overall a much-better built car than any piece of ____ Hyundai. Nuff said.

Keep the shark because everyone underestimates it get it modded out and paid off then get a 2007 or 2008 tc as a daily driver because depending on how much u owe your gonna be backwards thats why i kept my Lantra, btw you post at HP?

you may not wat to trade in since the dealer will not likely give you much about your car, expect much lower than blue book. and take out all the mods that you put on your car before trade in, mods is great for your taste, but harder for dealer to sell the car, in other word, they will offer you less than a stock car.

i don't think hyundai is POS, but they do have poor trade in/resell value, so expect the worst. i think you should drive your tib until it dies then get another car.

If it had lower miles I think you'd be in better shape. 50k is a lot for an '03. I would probably try selling it myself before I would trade it in. Somebody would probably be willing to pay private party blue book value if it's in good shape.

...

Umm, a Tiburoun is not faster than a tC...not by a good 1.5 seconds...1/4 mile time...that is a lot...

tC's are better for the price...

tC ... tiburoun

it's a no-brainer...

I test drove a tc last night and was a little dissapointed at the red line. It was a lot nicer and had more room inside, which was a plus. The back end didn't do anything for me it looked really plain. But I love the front end and the roof. I'm probably going to wait a while tell they get all the problems worked out. Don't tell there are no problem either, because every new car where they change it up has problems.

Nuff said.w car where they changed it up has had problem.

The gearing might be faster but the redline sucks, and a gtv6 tibby is faster than a TC. Do your homework.

I test drove a v6 tib last week and it has a decent amount of power to it. I have to test drive the tc still but by numbers alone the Tib has more power. Its your choice in the end that matters. I would keep the tib and purchase a nicer car in the future.
Tibby: HP-172
Torque-181
TC:HP-160
Torque - 163
