Default Do you like your car as much as day one?

I have noticed with my Tc as time has gone on I have lost the kind of feeling I had when I first bought my Tc. Has this happened to any of you? The only way I seem to be able to re-spark my interest in the car is to buy a new part...this is getting very expensive. What do you guys do to re-spark the interest in your Tc?

It happens to everybody, that's why we throw stuff on it to re-spark it. Nothing beats the feeling of when you got your first car though, especially when it happens to be brand new when you got it. I have had 3 cars since my first and they no longer feel as special when you pick them up.

Start modding, maybe it'll help.

I am modified and will continue to add more....I just started a DIY turbo build with Dezod and Zpi as my helpers/suppliers of parts.

I hear you on that Scion does make some great cars. I have had my Xb for a little under two years now. The Tc is coming up on its year and a half b-day. I am just at the point where I am running out of "tastefull" mods to do.

I take it on as a challange to try to find things to do on little money. I am going to try to install some leds inside of the speaker cover. I going to try to set it up so the lights go with the beat of the music or just on. we will see

See-Through Hoods? Cardboard Spoiler? Spray-paint the car yourself?

And if you start to get bored with it, give it a really good wash and wax.....hard to not smile when it's sparkeling.

Spray paint the interior panels. Crappy China parts and no name everything.

Same here, but this may have to do with the fact I learned to drive manual on this car
