Well, I was out at the new 1/4 mile track here in the Houston area (track is in Sealy, TX) with my Lightning Club (HALO) for our annual photo shoot. Well, my truck is down for enhancements, so I was in the xA. Decided to take it down the track.

I was impressed. I figured it would run about a 22sec 1/4 mile, but it didn't. LOL

18.29sec @ 75mph.

Of course, I had my wife and mines luggage in the car. She owns a Lightning also. And I also had a full tank of gas. I probably could broke a 17 if I had shed some weight. LOL

my xA stock ran a 17.369 @ 78.29mph, i think if i would of shifted into 4th instead of redlining 3rd it would of been better.

not bad, I wanna find a 1/4 around my house, there's 1/8 al over the place, (I know of 2) but I think the closest 1/4 is like 2-3 hours from me. and I'm not even sure.

do I really need one? I'm not bragging about it... just amazed it could do it. LOL

Only timeslips I keep are my best times in my Lightning... I can scan those if you'd like to see 'em. :eyebrow:

What kind of times are you running in your lightning?

Do you go on svtperformance.com? That's an awesome forum, I go on there alot.

on the stock motor, I've run a best of 11.96sec. This was with 15psi (stock is 8 ) and a 50hp of nitrous. I'm in the process of putting a new (built) motor in, along with a Whipple supercharger... should put me in the 10's, once all tuned in.

Don't go there very often. I'm one of 3 founders of Houston Area Lightning Owners, so my time is usually there. :)
