just a simple noob question.

does anyone ever feel their car kind of grab when going downhills? i've noticed that in mine and just curious if it is normal?

yep...going up and downhill for me....i have an auto im not sure what you have.

Yeah, I have an auto. Just curious, beacuse most cars I don't feel it, but in the tC I do.

what year is yours? ive got an 05 with the 4-speed auto...idk if the 5 speed autos would be any better?

Yep, I feel that, too. I have 07 auto. It feels like engine brake (it's not engine brake tho) but no sound at all.

i think it's the drive by wire system. it knows your going down hill and see's that your throttle hasn't changed so it adjusts to maintain the same speed. but thats just my guess

Its some sort of technology in the auto transmission. I read about it somewhere but I forgot where.
