well, after the install (with the radio door closed) it looks like nothing has changed (stock) which was kinda what i was going for... and thanks.

p.s. i also used mullex connectors for power/remote turn on/ground wires, saudered everything, zip tied everything. basically all that stuff you'll never see that makes a good install better. lots of planning, research, and sweat.

I'm planning on installing a computer in my tc as well. Only difference is that I'm planning to put in a Inter Mac mini. What display are you using in your install? Any tips of suggestions would be good.

I love the setup

wow, id been planning and getting some things together for a car pc too, but have no idea on a reliable power supply. I read that a seperate power supply for the pc is better than draining the car battery. I'd really like to know how you over come the power supply issue. Cant wait for the before after pics :)

how long does it take for it to boot?

nick, for a mac setup i would visit mp3car.com and take their suggestions.

night, it's a specialized car dc-dc power supply which has (built in) a monitor for the car battery. this means that it will not turn or it will shut itself down if the car battery get below a certain voltage (that will prevent the car to start back up)
you should go here: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=106&order=desc

it will give you ALL the faq's
