WHOA, you're Right! ... Look at those Boxes! Definitely a rip-off of the xB.

But why'd you post the same pic 4 times of an xB with a red X on it ?

Doubt it because the front end looks like the Yaris.

heres some background behind Great Wall Motors:

Great Wall Motor Company Limited (GWM, in Chinese: 长城汽车) is the largest privately-owned automotive manufacturer in China. It is the first privately-owned auto company of China listed in the Hong Kong stock market and has obtained HKD 1.7 billion financial investment. With 10 plus years of rapid growth, GWM has accumulated enormous economic capacity, becoming the number one taxpayer consecutively for three years in the City of Baoding. It is among “the Top 500 Enterprises of China in 2004" and one of the best brands in national automobile range. GWM took its first step to become a truly global company by exporting SUVs to the competitive European market in September 2006. GWM already sells cars in about 60 (mostly developing) countries and exports account for about a third of the company's sales.[1]

I think that "xB" looks like a t2B!! Can't Toyota sue them for this?? I'm thinkin that the just took an xA and a xB body and added their own fascia.
These are UGLY "Scions". I hope Toyota sues them too, for all they're worth!! Ugly Chinese built POS!!!!!

I dunno if they use the same engine or w/e but I'm sure they do have some investment in them. Ford has an investment I know because
they use the Explorer/Mountaineer platform in one of their SUV's. They also have a Mitsubishi Montego platform car

Sue them? Toyota probably knows all about this.
That's like having Dodge sue Mitsubishi over their pickup truck.

Huh? I thought Dodge and Mitsu did some projects together back in the 90's? 3000GT & Stealth...

I hear Domestics and Imports work together at times to cut down import cost, fees, taxes, w/e. Toyota and Chevrolet
traded the Cavalier on the mid/late 90's for that reason. It was called the Toyota Cavalier.

I've just been doing some quick Google searches with the engines that they display in the GWM websites and they are all Toyota motors...

What I meant is that the Mitsu Raider is a Dodge Dakota with changed parts.
These Chinese cars are obviously the same situation. So being mad at GWM or talking about Toyota should sue them is silly. If anything y'all should be mad at Toyota
for selling them the xA/xB to sell as GWM cars. But why would you be mad at a company trying to make money?

What I want to know is how long before we start seeing CDM (Chinese Domestic Market) themed Scions in the States

And the Plymouth Laser was also the same car as those two.

In fact, many of their cars are identical until they get to the US port and they get a box of accessories that include the emblems and the few parts that are different.

It's definitely some sort of partnership- and not a counterfeiting situation.

That xA looks good with the Yaris nose. Is that what the new IST looks like or is there even a new IST?
