I had a lovely morning, went to work, found out I had the day off and was heading back home. That was great until I smacked into the deer that was on the highway. I'm okay, the deer - not sure, it disappeared. My 2006 xA did not fare so well . Front is crunched and would not start, I had to be pushed to the shoulder by another vehicle. From the posts I'm beginning to think xA's are deer magnets.

 

That plain sucks! Did you get hurt at all?

 

No, I'm fine. The airbags worked great and the engine did not go into my lap. For being a subcompact, I think the xA is very safe. Thanks for inquiring!

 

omg, alright, it's time to start aking deer jerky, those things are out to get us!!

 

or you can just go get the deer wissels from auto zone and put them on

By the by, those deer whistles don't work worth a dam. My Ex, was a cop, had them on his squad. In August one year he was on a call, in the country, with lights, siren, the whole nine yards and a frickin' deer ran right out in front of him. It was about 1:00 in the morning. He frickin' totaled the squad and had one hell of a ride. Thankfully he only had a burn rash from the airbag.
But if I had known he was gonna leave me 2 years later, I would have wished the deer won!!!! At least then I would have gotten the life insurance.
Yeah, I'm a sick puppy. LOL

the blue bag is to hold corning wear, so you can bring a hotdish (casorole to anybody NOT in mn) to a party and it stays hot.
