That's pretty cool! Those wheels look almost exactly like the Enkei Evo 5 wheels, though in a different color.

....his MPH is pegged to the right and so is his RPMs...

The Japanese air must be make every car rev much higher. New mod, canned Japaneses air hooked into your intake!

I dont believe it. I am in the military and we can bypass import laws on vehicles. Yet were are still forbidden to import a tC into Japan. They are extremely stringent on import laws.

yes I guess maybe he has the money to do so. But even his link to a car club is in Guam, not Japan.

MPH Gauge pic was probably taken when the car was turned on doing the needle sweep. the RPM gauge was probably done in neutral at WOT.

Looks like there's another one listed with the Japan crew as well:

All the pics are so vague. Other than the first parking lot shot with the tiny cars in the bg, there's nothing in detail that shows that tC is in Japan. that one pic even says Ford...

I smell bullcrap.

If I'm in Japan, I would rather drive their kick butt cars that we don't get over here, rather than importing a tC.

Don't get me wrong, I love the tC and all, but I would rather have this:

even if it's used, it would probably cost the same, or even cheaper than the tC.

its all about being exclusive. i think thats awesome that sommeone wanted a car thats only sold here, but made in japan only.

it makes sense! plus it would look killer on the streets over there. and i love those TOM'S wheels!

^ *DROOL'S ON FLOOR* Totally agree. The tC is nice and all but Japan has much nicer cars at the same cost and you dont have to deal with the importing hassle. But still cool...if its true.

Thats guage sweep. Also his front license plate is off in random pictures which is a nono. And that plate is a country plate. Its made for LARGE cars. City plate is made for little cars like this one. It should have a green font on the plate not black

That would be cool if he USDM'd it but yeah, it seems a little sketchy, prolly just someone goofing off and dreaming.

and isn't the front plate supposed to be offset? or is that optional?

Exactly. There are fairly plain old Honda hatchbacks at some shows that people go nuts over because the steering wheel is on the wrong side. It's the same thing there, I'm sure. If you see dozens of Skylines a day, they lose their luster. They are exotic to us, but fairly common there.
