Default What luck!

First of all i got into a accident while i was trying to avoid a car, crashed into a big cement pole, wrecked the entire front, so now my car is in the bodyshop, insurance deemed it my fault so my premium will go up.

I was put in a rental car and somehow i manage to damage that as well hitting a curb. Nothing major but still some scratches and scuffs, none on the metal part tho.

If i put this on my insurance again does anyone know how much my premium will go up? I heard incidents from 25-40% for 3 years.

I guess i will be picking up the Damage Waiver next time around... sigh...

Not really sure how it's going to work for you, but in my case, I was dropped by my insurance company for having 2 accidents within 2 months of each other. Of course it all depends on the circumstances. Hopefully it doesn't get to that for you though.

oh wow really? damn that is not good...
hopefully their estimate will not bring back too much damage, that way maybe i do not have to claim insurance... as my accidents are within a week!

Were your accidents major?

well, lets look at this from a optimistic kind of way, at least you and the people are around you are ok, the scion isnt so much, but it will be fixed! what i would do if i was in your situation is spring for a new wheel and tire on the rental car out of your pocket, so your insurance will never know about it - I sware to god the insurance companies are ____ us off - but hey - the second that you discontinue your insurance plan is when something really bad hits you, and then you are really F'ed in the A.

hopefully everything works out for you!

Well in my case it is not only the tire... the bottom side skirt is damaged, the tire is ok. So is the wheel, just scuffed up the side skirt. Non-metal part.. so they might have to replace and re-paint..

yeah i am thinking of just paying up, and not even claiming it if it is not too much.

Yeah, I hope it's not that much to repair the rental for your sake! You've had some bad luck with wrecks, and your listed under PA --................ so stay away from me, lol.

a lot of it depends on how much your insurance had to pay out

If your dedicutible is $1000, and the damages only amount to $999, theres a good chance your insurance will not go up, they will simply keep the accident on file. When they start to have to pay out, is when your insurance goes up.
