Alphawerks header + CC spipe + Greddy Evo2 Exhaust = loud and raspy ; ;

Anyone know of any good shops to do resonators?

Or is there another route to quieting down this setup.

 

That is the same set up I have less the spipe. The rasp must be in the
CCspipe, I have never seen one of those. Mine is nice and quiet at idle,
and growls on acceleration.

 

He has a tC, not an xB

 

tc + header equals annoying... i just turn the radio up...

 

The car sounded really good before headers/s-pipe was installed... It was nice and deep. Now it sounds like a mountain lion.

time to steal all of eric's winter idea's... jk! i wonder if that guy with the white tC ever do anything to his car?.... maybe another tC emblem for 10hp

you could probly take it to a muffler shop and have them put a resonator in...

 

I had a huge resonater welded in by a nice guy at Meineke for about $100. I'm not sure what effect it had since I put it on before I installed my header, but it there was no rasp once I installed it.

if you want to "complete" the exhaust set up you can always buy the SS mid-pipe. Doesn't ZPI offer that? but you'd have to get a custom resonator put on it anyway to reduce noise. As for the rasp, just think about it this way, that "annoying" noise you hear is also the beautiful sound of performance.

I got used to it, took a damn while but turning the music up does ease things up a bit.

What's taking so long with suspension? I woulda thought u put that in by now. Oh and how much better is your handling after the swaybars were installed? Big difference?

Still need to find a midpipe... i'm reading that magnaflow has good hiflow cats and resonators

And still need to find a shop.

 

Chin stores are the best warranty wise, price-wise everywhere is expensive, let me know if you find anything!
