i had my dads dodge durango that was lifted and had rimz and a nice stereo stolen from my driveway...a few weeks later we foud it on the side of a highway stripped....it was bad...

then when i first drove my car home the first night i had the rims stolen off of the car the same night i brought it home...omg i was soo ____ed. wenever did find out who did it or get the rims back, these guys also hit two other houses on my block...

ChefWill no I didn't have my alarm installed yet it's in my garage with all my Tv's, amps,subs front & rears and quick release steering hub & wheel. So I guess it's a good thing that I didn't have that stuff installed, but it sucks that now I have a $25.00 rent a car untill the find my baby :tap: This tops off a great two weeks because last monday they broke into my house and stole all my computers,ipod,xbox and money as well as keys to my xB & tC.. :tap: They got my xB before I could rekey it but at least I got my tC re keyed before they got it. They were in it last night and left cig butts in it but couldn't start it more then likely so they left it :tap: Anyways Thanks Again everybody and I will keep you updated on this as da story unfolds!

So where were you...parked...or where was the vehicle at..city, state....lotta silver xB's out there..Plate # might help too.

ok... WOW - I thought maybe it was a random chop-job thing, sounds like you got pegged. I bet there is sh*tloads of evidence pointing to exactly who did this. Do you still have the cig butts? DNA right there.

I'm guessing that this is very likely someone you know.

I would think that it would be very rare to have someone roll your house, and then steal your car later with the keys, and would indicate either someone who is familiar with your schedule, or comfortable in/around your house.

the good news is that if this is all true, your car will likely not go to a chopshop and get parted before it turns up.

I would be flippin tap-dancing on a detective's desk if they were not able to come up with a suspect in the next 24h. there's WAY too much evidence to make that even remotely excusable.

Thanks Guys.. My ride was stolen from North Phoenix. 35th Ave & Union Hills Area... I have an idea on who could be behind this and I'm checking into that ave myself.... :tap: I have talked to my neighbors on both break-ins and have two different stories.... The house break-in my across the street neighbor said it was (2) younger white kids that went through the garage and drove away in a white late model car... The car theft my next store neighbor said they saw a Silver Chrysler 300 sitting outside with it's running lights on at around 1:30am and they went outside to smoke a cig and it left... They went back inside and about 20mins later it returned... They saw two heavier set Hispanics inside the car just sitting there. That's where the story dies so I too belive the two break-ins are connected, but too different M O's.. The cops got Good prints off my tC so hopefully they can find the A*SHOLE's. Thanks again everybody for the help and kind words~

Hey Guys got a call at 4:00am on Sat morning from the Phoenix Police Dept. that they found my ride :clap:
The Sh*tty thing is now how does it look..... :nails: They told me it was "Undriveable" and that it was "Stripped" Great just the words I wanted to hear.... :tap: So I went down to the impound lot this morning and here are the pics of my baby.... :doh:
Front End....GONE
TV's............GONE
Door Skins......GONE
Tail Lights......GONE
Car back.......Priceless.. All I can hope for is a total of this one and buy a new one....? I'm going to try and get a hold of someone at Camelback that can help me out with making sure I don't get HOSED by my ins... :pray:

watch Ebay for your stuff getting sold

check craigslist too, they might be trying to sell it there

tell them your intrested in buying it, then show up and start pealing caps like bananas

or just call the police, which ever

Wow. That sucks. I had my Civic stolen a few years ago -- probably one of the worst feelings ever. I bought my xB because they don't get stolen often. However, seeing stuff like this makes me wonder. Glad they found it, but sorry you had to go through this.

It really looks like someone was going parts shopping. i found it strange that someone would take the lower center console cover.

and the whole front end missing, that's a top area to replace considering the shrapnel that these things take.

yea it does look like they just wanted parts, because its not completely stripped, if they were gonna strip it, you would just find the uniframe body, no doors, interior, engine, suspension, they didn't even take your strut tie bar

the fact that it still has an engine leads me to think life the above posters. IF I were jacking a car, I'd be into the money parts. Not some of the more cheaper superficial parts.

THis leaves a sour taste in my mouth and its not even my car. I just know what its like to work hard and have low lives rip you off.

Wait a week and then also check the local for sale ads to see if an xB shows up. If you can, get the VIN number of it and have your Scion dealer run the Carfax report, if they'd be willing. See if it was in an accident... basically do a little leg work. Sorry you had to go through this man. I hope karma really is a bastard to whoever did this.

Is the box repairable? Well it a good thing it didn't get wrecked. But it does suck how it got ended up to be :(
