I would like to get a short-ram intake, with the breather hose after the MAF sensor, and my head is spinning from reading intake threads all damn day.

The buyers-guide is great but seems a bit outdated...

What are my options?

It looks like the
AEM Typhoon (is this considered short-ram?)
Injen Short-ram
Weapon-R (though I have yet to hear anything even remotely positive about this...)

Is Fujita going to release a short-ram for the xA?
How does the perin short-ram stack-up?

Anybody with a short-ram on their xA want to share their thoughts?

you can buy the fujita cai and convert it too a sri

and there is the Blitz SUS Power Air Cleaner

 

I believe the injen CAI turned into the shortram is your best bet. Blackxb has it on his xB and the breather is after the maf and it places the filter where the stock one goes. Fujita and injen pretty much produce the same thing. I'm not sure if the SRI fujita will work for you. I have one on my xB for the same reaons you have stated. I don't think the SRI for xB works on the xA though. The CAI converted to the SRI might be the best way to go.
