Wait until September and maybe get my black xa 5 spd or drive off the dealers lot today with a auto camo xb (my second favorite scion)?

 

Go xB. I can't believe they have a camo sitting on the lot. I have yet to see one at all ore hear of any dealers having them.

 

Get a 5 speed box! Ok not one of the choices...get the 5 speed its so much more fun!

 

Funny, there are xB camo's frequently sitting on the two lots here in Dixie. I bought a Camo 5-speed just sitting there.

By all means get the xB. More room, more value, better resale, won't look dated with you finally get it paid off. The 5-speed is fun but the auto turns 500 rpm less at 70. How much do you travel?

 

Weird. All I see here is TCM, TCM, and more TCM.

 

Myself and Doc and CB waited and waited for our Hot Lavas to arrive, then they came in and we were all happy, well I was the only exception, mine took longer to arrive and I was slumming ..... :twisted:

If you really have your heart set on Black, then you something, hang in there and wait ...... Get the one you really want ........ If not, after you see a Black one on the road and you have the Camo - You will be depressed !

So .... HANG IN THERE AND WAIT FOR THE ONE YOU REALLY WANT !!

:twisted: What you should really do is be a true pimp, and wait till the end of August and get your hands on the new RS 1.0 xA in absolute red with trac control and vehicle stability control and roof, for about the same price as the xB. You can catch the pics of it on www.scion.com . But that's what I would do.

Not on the streets, in the lots. Which would make me think either the dealers are unlucky with their allocations or people aren't buying the TCM xB.

 

i should also mention that I am between cars. so waiting for the xa is going to suck. I think i will go with the camo xb. its the car that got me interested in scions to begin with, so i should be the proud owner of a camo xb by the end of the day.

 

See if they can trade one for another one from another dealership...maybe have more choices?

 

Get what you want. That is most important. Besides September is right around the corner.

 

you dont want to have to settle on a car cause of a waiting period, the camo's are very sweet and not to popular which makes it all the more fun! get what you really want and if you do want the xA do as the poster above suggested and see if a trade is possible...

 

I just ordered my TCM xB and it is going to be eight weeks.... you should hang in there... get what you want, you are spending the money.

 

wats so special about the rs 1.0......... the color? big deal....the rims? it could be done for cheaper....the gril??? ya that could be done for cheaper along with the spolier and the exhaust tip.... its still the same engine...

 

Black xAs are king of the world!

We have a Camo xB in 5spd at my work. Been sitting there for weeks. Manuals are hard sells with all the lazy people in this area.

5sp/auto is a wash imo. one is fun but notchy, the other is not as fun but less buzzy. Camo's a cool color, but black is beautiful. PLUS the 5spd is 1K cheaper. you can rent a car for the month for less than 1K

 

You KNOW you really want the Box. I say GO FOR IT! Auto Camo RULEZ! hehehe
Take it from a former detailer, black is a beotch to keep nice. And superjeer's right, there's not that much difference between the two trannys, they both have their plusses, and that 800 you save on the stick will pay for the clutch that you'll eventually need to replace.
