Default My xB comes tomorrow

After the long wait (about 3-4 months) I finally placed an order on Friday. It was supposed to be here today, but the dealer said they couldn't find a driver and that I can get it tomorrow. I had a tough decision, as everyone does, as to which color I should get. I had it narrowed down to Polar White and Shadow Mica.. Currently I drive a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder that is white. I decided to go with white because even when it gets dirty, it still looks cleaner than all the other colors. So I am looking forward to picking up my brand new xB tomorrow. I have many plans for it, and I plan to use ScionLife as my guide through it all. I know you all are probably sick of posts like this, but I couldn't hold back my excitment. I look forward to using all of the input that you guys will supply me, and I plan to be a part of this forum for the years to come.

i was in the same situation. it was either shadow mica or polar white. i decided to get shadow mica because i see too many white xB's here in houston. i originally wanted camo.

micaxB - Yeah, it's the complete oppostie here.. I hardly ever see white xB's at all. I too wanted Camo, but obviously, no luck. However, I ultimately hope I am happy with the decision.

Shan14 - Oh believe me, I have spent that past 4 months learning everything I can about the xB. I am so ready to own it and apply everything I have learned.

I ended up going with Polar White, despite what I said before..haha

Here are some pictures I took today (I realize you all know what a stock white xB looks like, but oh well).. Sorry, it was raining, and it was night time..

Yeah, I would have had stuff bought for it..but.. This may sound crazy, however, I am not allowed to buy anything for it until after Christmas. These were direct orders from my girlfriend. She is planning to buy a few things that I have mentioned, and in order to not spoil any of her suprise gifts, I have to resist the urge to buy anything and wait.. Either way I will be getting stuff by the end of next month, whether it be a gift or not, I just want stuff for it.

Keep in mind, there are some mods that you can do without actually "buying" something for your xB. The SuperSoaker mod has got to be one of the best and is very effective against tailgaters! Did I mention it's FREE?!? Let your imagination run wild. You could modify tons of stuff in the xB without actually "buying" something for your car.
Also, check out Oznium.com for some very cheap cold cathodes. You could order these without the G/F knowing. For $20, you could have 4 12" cathodes of your color choice. Installation is a breeze on these, so you'd be well on your way to modder's heaven in no time!
Congrats on the new box! Welcome to the gang!

Thanks for the input, and that's a good idea.. I'll have to start looking into some easy DIY mods.. I am not the best as far as doing things myself, but I should be able to work stuff out with you guys around.

Congrats on the purchase! I can't imagine waiting that long to get an xB, I waited about a week, just to make sure the financing went through. Test drove the one I actually bought the week before, literally drove it off the showroom floor. I'm just getting around to a few mods, haven't had much extra for that with bills and whatnot. Again congrats, and enjoy!

Brunt1823 , Great choice on the PW. If I had it to do over I'd have gone that route too. Not only does it stay cleaner looking longer. It's also easier to hide and touch up rock chips. Congrats and enjoy your new toy.
