View Full Version : Is Everybody Ok?
Macster 11-07-2006, 03:54 PM I noticed that a few of our regulars haven't readily checked in. Not sure because of power lost or what not but just thought I'd have this up... just in case.
I'm fine here in Auburn albit the parking lot is flooded, none of the homes are affected however.
streetracergirl 11-07-2006, 04:09 PM Well iam doing good just been very busy with family and work. Here at work our parking lot is totally flooded due to the rain. I hope all the water iam been going through does not hurt my car.
TC06CHICK 11-07-2006, 04:12 PM Im not regular but I'm fine!! Just sick of this stupid rain! I know that wedrivescions is fine and so is honey0bucket!!!
mocascion 11-07-2006, 04:37 PM The rain here has closed Hwy 410 in 4 places and the Sumner school district is closed for the day.
I have a friend whose family was evacuated last night because his house is near the river down in Puyallup. There was also a mandatory evacuation of 4 neighborhoods in Sumner.
Racinkid13 11-07-2006, 04:47 PM What? Ive been just fine rowing into work these days. Seems odd catchin salmon on I-5, but who am i to complain.
TC06CHICK 11-07-2006, 05:08 PM hahaha racinkid that was funny...wow how bad is it up in seattle?? I need to go down and look at the clackamas river and see how bad it really is over here....

 OOPS!
Jenna 11-07-2006, 06:17 PM Nip/Tuck is cool. You know that syndactyly that the one doctor's son has? My son has that on his left foot. Not the big toe but the two toes after that are perfectly conjoined (the rest of his foot is completely normal). It's way cute. But if he ever chooses to have it separated, we certainly wouldn't do it in the plastic surgeon's office, lol.
TC06CHICK 11-07-2006, 06:20 PM lol yah... that shows awesome...
TC06CHICK 11-07-2006, 06:21 PM Ya... great babe...great... You can tell me, what happened in the last half and hour?? You put me to sleep brat!

TC06CHICK 11-07-2006, 07:16 PM Dave! I used to HATE nip/tuck when it first aired... Then my girlfriend made me watch it, then her and I made a ritual of it, and I fell in love!! lol
kkawana 11-07-2006, 07:24 PM nip/tuck= day time soap that emphasizes the sex/part 'dr 90120' reality wanna be... lol...
Infamous425 11-07-2006, 07:28 PM forget nip/tuck its all about THE OFFICE!
TC06CHICK 11-07-2006, 07:31 PM haha I had to watch an episode of the office in my phsy class a few weeks ago, it seems really funny!
mocascion 11-07-2006, 08:21 PM Anyone hear from Steve yet? They just had on the news that all the homes between the river and Pioneer (where we had the SCAAs) are being evacuated because the Puyallup river is nearing its crest and will soon be over the banks.
nwscionman 11-07-2006, 08:24 PM All is well here in the valley (as far as I can tell...) We have not had a rush of customers though...
What news channel was that?
milesm4 11-07-2006, 08:36 PM Last weeks show was kinda lame I can't remember the series of events but Julia nad the male nanny hooked up, he went in for a consult on an operation to make his legs longer. Tonight though it's on, Matt + Kimber= baby!!!
nwscionman 11-07-2006, 08:36 PM King TV's website:
Meanwhile, the Puyallup River is expected to be impacted by the release of water from Mud Mountain Dam within the next 12 hours. Effects may occur at any time. The city strongly urges residents along the Puyallup River to voluntarily evacuate and secure their properties.
I guess we can expect this slow day at the dealership to continue..??
TC06CHICK 11-07-2006, 08:43 PM Whhhatttt Matt and Kimber are hooking up!?! I was awake for the midget and her kissing and then I saw when he talked to the doctor about making his legs longer, but what happened after that, did the midget get liad by Julia!? No freakin way!!!
milesm4 11-07-2006, 08:48 PM Oh yeah they definately were rubbing bellies! Remember like two weeks ago Kimber and Matt hooked up after her and Christian knocked it out. This week they announce their relationship to his parents and the tease on the promo is she's pregnant but they don't know who the dad is!

Davie06TC 11-08-2006, 12:38 AM Heroes is where its at. And the nine is pretty good too.
Kanchi 11-08-2006, 02:34 AM I'd rather just see the highlights on youtube.com
Gsnorgathon 11-08-2006, 03:32 AM TV? What's that?
But to try, however feebly, to steer this thread back on topic: I'm fine. It's really weird, though - I was out in Index on Saturday and Baker River (north of Concrete) on Sunday, and now all these places where I just visited are impassible. Kinda sobering...
The best damn show on TV is 60 Minutes!
I'm really tempted to take my kayak down the streets.
mocascion 11-08-2006, 03:42 AM ^^ Heck YEAH! I TiVo that and 60 Minutes 2 every week!
Jenna 11-08-2006, 03:55 AM I just got back from taking my kids to wrestling and we had a HUGE... I repeat... HUGE thunder and lightning storm. OMG, It was almost as though the world was coming to an end. And the hail, holy mother of pearl, better not of dented my car or cracked my windshield. I had to get on the freeway, since the flooding has prevented me from taking the correct way home, and the standing water and the huge hail that made it look like a snow storm, made me lose control of my car... I was doing 20-25.
Ugh, if you look quick, you can see the little nasty red thing on KOMO's radar.
I haven't experienced anything like that, ever. We hardly ever get thunder and lighting and I swear I saw probably my whole life's worth tonight. The lightning was right on top of us... blinding white and the thunder unbelievably loud. Oh, did I mention it rained so hard there was an inch of standing water everywhere and little flash floodings about?
Wow, wow, wow, wow!
mocascion 11-08-2006, 04:32 AM Jenna...are you and the kids okay!?!
Jenna 11-08-2006, 04:35 AM Oh yeah, we're okay. We had quite the scare on I-5 but I amazingly got it under control and got to the next exit. Well, we continued to slip and slide all over the hail and standing water but nothing like that first time that had my car almost off the road. Crazy, crazy weather we had up here a few hours ago!
mocascion 11-08-2006, 04:39 AM Thank goodness for Vehicle Stability Assist!!!
PizzaBox 11-08-2006, 03:25 PM TV? What's that?

Don't worry..... Concrete is still here alive and well and above water. The Baker was running full but the Skagit was impressive. They predicted 48 feet crest but it "only" hit 39.8 so only the usual flooded places were impacted. Everyone was really scared on Monday!!!
So, did you stop for pizza while in Concrete????? :tap:
Anne
Jenna 11-08-2006, 03:29 PM So, did you stop for pizza while in Concrete????? :tap:
I'm glad to hear you're okay and your store wasn't swept away like all the houses I'm watching on television right now.
TC06CHICK 11-08-2006, 03:47 PM wow jenna that would've been so neat to see!! I'm so jealous, its not doing anything down here, stupid portland
Gsnorgathon 11-09-2006, 12:27 AM When I was coming back from Baker River I tried to take the shortcut (I don't know what the name of the road is - it's the the one that goes by Lake Tyee), but the road was blocked by downed trees. At that point I decided I'd just head back home.
