Injen sells a cover for their filters, its not water resistant but unless you have the filter submerged under water you should not have any problems. I wouldn't worry about a by-pass valve (AEM thingy), unless you do run the risk of getting the filter submerged, in otherwords the front end of your car underwater like we do up here in Washington lately!

trd cai boasts about its water bypass to prevent hydro-locking, they are expensive, but if you are really worried, get that one.

here in cali, you shouldn't have to worry about submerging your intake and causing hydrolock..it's really rare here. But it you want to be on the safe side, you can put the AEM bypass valve on the intake, it just takes a little fabtrication. Some people here have done it, sorry though, i don't know who

also, cai's are pretty basic tech, hard for anything to do wrong, i'm pretty sure the only bad one is the k&n 69 typhoon, it has this weak support bracket that always snaps when the engine torques.

^^that's all well and good, but she's asking about the 07 intakes and mainly she's asking about any problems with it...she didn't ask if the aem bypass valve will work or not
