hey all,

I've been calling around to Scion dealers in my area and none of the have xA's with 5spd, and since it would be a 4-6 week wait, it doesn't look I'll be able to head back out to grad school with a car. So I might wait for one of these RS 1.0's. But how does one acquire one? I know they aren't out yet, but I don't want to miss the boat by not putting my name down early enough. Anyone have suggestions? Thanks.

depending on the dealer you just need to put your name done for one. you may need to leave a refundable deposit of various amounts, but usually $500. go to your local dealer and they should be able to help with this.

Ikon is right. Just let your dealer know you'd like one (try to make sure your the first one @ whatever dealer you choose) There arent very many to go around.~Good luck :D

 

You know what is really weird is that the Hot Lava xB's are around everywhere where I live. I saw three in less than 24 hours.

The RS 1.0 xA in absolute red won't be available @ all scion dealerships, california wil get a lot of them, as they've had time to establish priven sales records, as far as the rest of the country is concerned, the more scions a dealer has sold so far, the better chance they have to get the special edition. The dealership I work @ is only getting 2 and we have the 2nd best sales in our state

 

Actually, from what I have heard from my dealer, who heard it from his regional sales manager, it is based on toyota sales for the dealership, not just scion sales... and that every dealership will get at least one xa rs 1.0.

Which is good for the little people...

 

The part about it being based on Toyota sales is correct, that's what I meant when I said we had 2nd best sales in the state, sorry, should have made it extra clear for you jmp867

And since they are only making 1,550 of them and some dealerships in CA. are getting up to 10 of them, there is no way that every dealership will get at least one of them
