I want to paint my center console to match the outside, i think the silver is boring!! Has anyone done this to their xb?? how hard was it to do? what type of paint did you use?? Where can i get it? I'm hoping i can find a suitable green color to match my green envy. if you respond can you include pics so i can see what it looks like??

I also saw some vinyl decals you can purchase on ebay that would cover up the center console, and door handles. does anyone have those?? are they worth it? see, i would think that eventually the vinyl decals would peel off from high and low temps inside the car due to changing seasons and also just from regular wear and tear. also if you have the decals, can you include pics??

Depending on the quality of the vinyl decals, they could last a long time. However, there is just as big of a difference in vinyl as there is in cars. A cheap roll of vinyl is not going to last that long compared to a thicker high performance vinyl. A Suzuki isnt going to last a long as a lexus/toyota. At the shop I work at, we install vinyl lettering on Sheriff and Police Departments in a couple different counties, install racing stripes, and custom graphics. We use high performance vinyl, and dont usually have problems. Most of the crap off ebay are going to be really cheap low grade vinyl, painting isnt really that hard to do and make it look good, call around and see what a car painting place/body shop would charge if you want it done professionally.
