Old_Punk 07-31-2004, 03:34 AM Whose body kit? And was there no way to avoid the rivet on the side skirt?
DaOne43 07-31-2004, 04:41 AM wait whats this?
Smoke20Scion 07-31-2004, 05:03 AM Hell yes, now that is what I am talking about. Love the Lexani's on the Xb. That is just sweet. Great choice in wheels!
stankubrick 07-31-2004, 05:06 AM Whose body kit? And was there no way to avoid the rivet on the side skirt?
Looks like Fabulous (with the curvy side skirts).
Looks nice :)
But what's up with the silver rivets?
J_A_Trevino 07-31-2004, 06:34 AM body kit does look pretty dope but just dont care for the bling bling look IMHO. looks nice though.
mikochu 07-31-2004, 06:48 AM Is that a taco bell decal on his windshield?
Sciontuner 07-31-2004, 04:01 PM lol A lot sticker for work, the rivets were because i think the bodykit slightly warped befor eit got installed, wasnt fitting correctly, but hey what can ya do...
Max2k 07-31-2004, 05:18 PM Very nice. Now you're going to need a lot more chrome!
scionracerxb 08-03-2004, 03:47 PM what happened, i thought you were getting chameleon paint?
Sciontuner 08-03-2004, 06:15 PM it still shade shifts, but not all terrible looking
KapitanE 08-04-2004, 01:14 AM VIP concept should have a wider lower body, that is why some japanese bodykit makers sell along with FSR kits with door panels. Also decals and sticker are a definite no no for VIP,.... maybe a sun shade type on windscreen will do, but definitely no loud messages.... deep dish is also a must for VIP... how bout in the insides??
MyBoX 08-04-2004, 01:27 AM Very nice little car. one question, why did you screw your side spoiler to the body ?? Get them painted as soon as you can !!! can we ave some shots of front and rear of the car !! Take care Sean
Sciontuner 08-04-2004, 04:38 AM kit doesnt fit, freakin worthless, had to screw it down, and they effed up my paint, im takin all the non sponsorship stickers, and i just got my bags in today, pics tomorrow!
Sciontuner 08-04-2004, 04:50 AM http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/657716
thats with rear bags in
windowtint 08-04-2004, 05:20 AM ...im takin all the non sponsorship stickers....
That's about the smartest damn thing I think I've read here yet. I just don't get it with the 127 different manufacturers stickers on the fenders and windows. Of all the 1000's of mods I've done to my vehicles over the years - not a single sticker to be found anywhere. Unless these people give you the parts for free or a DEEP discount at least, their damn free advertising sticker can get stuck crooked and greasy on a shop toolbox.
Which reminds me .. STYLIS .. since I haven't ordered yet, how about that free header back system - I'll sport your sticker. LOL. (j/k of course)
Sciontuner 08-04-2004, 05:30 AM ya, dc sponsore dme for some stuff, so gotta keep them, but the rest are gone for certain
Smoke20Scion 08-04-2004, 07:32 AM Sweet that it is being bagged. The back raises pretty high, keep us updated when you get the front done.
MIKE_DEGUZMAN 08-04-2004, 01:56 PM SHAVE ONE OF YOUR LICENSE PLATE HOLDERS PLEASE!! hope u didnt pay much for that kit... uve got some serious warpage... looks decent imo. and if i were to go w/ the bling... id go w/ the deep dish bling. but, its your car, not mine... looks ok tho...

Nice stance, can't wait to see it bagged all the way around.
Is it a real Fabulous kit, or the Fab style/whatever its called kit? You would think the rep would trade out the warped sideskirts for straight ones. After all, peeps are going see your pics, and see your car. Its not good for business if you're going around w/ warped sideskirts.
I agree also, get one of the rear licence plate locations filled/shaved.

Shaving the door handles also..........................nice. Oh, Joey gave you the kit for free. I can't wait to see it wen its all done. Hmm, maybe a little paint on the rivets then?
Sciontuner 08-04-2004, 05:39 PM no it was $$$ and thats why im ____ed
onemorescion 08-04-2004, 07:24 PM Nice box bro. Good job all the way around. Looks good. Keep us posted with pics when fully bagged.
DenZinz 08-05-2004, 04:41 AM Majority of fiberglass kits dont fit "perfect" especially if it is a replica. My orginal fiberglass kit on my Accord didn't fit well either. What the body shop should of done was fitted it first and filled in any gaps with Mar-Glas or Kitty Hair. That is how its done. The body shop has some fault in this situation. In fact ive seen TL's kit on a xA and it fit perfect!
How much did you pay that body shop? Maybe a little bit more $$ it would of fit perfect like the xA i saw. Perhaps they could of used 3m double stick tape instead of a rivet.
Just a thought...
Sciontuner 08-06-2004, 07:13 AM probly gonna get my money back cause ti wasnt a "shop" it was a dealership and they dont do "much custom work"
