I bought my car with the headers. And what can i say? back then i didnt know the header should be looke like this:

i know whats wrong... the installer didnt clean the header.. and everything just burned in to the header... but what can i do? polish it or what?

i tried to polish it w/ a sponge and a 1 dollar store polish powder.. now its shiny but still UGRLY.. maybe i should get a MOTHER scratch polish ball and polish it to the hell???
i dont want to paint it because to get a new one is like 250 dollars... so... what to do now?

Every megan header i have seen on a tC does this...The metal looks like it oxidizes and gets all cloudy and nasty looking.

so.. nothing to do with it?

paint is the only sulotion?

Not that i know of... You can get hi-temp engine enamel and spray paint it but i would go with jet hot. www.jethot.com.

im sorry but i dont get it.. jet hot selling paint or what? because i saw only the headers. but i dont want to buy jet hot headers or whatever. i didnt found any paint or something. so what do i have to see on the jet hot page?

or i have to take my header to the jet hot shop and they gona paint it or what?

Find a shop that does thermal coatings and take it to them. That's what Jet Hot is.

You ship them your header, they coat it and send it back to you... Theres a pretty quick turn around too.

IF you want to get rid of the marks wet sand it with 2500 grit sand paper then wipe it down with alcohol. If you removed it to do this then make sure you are wearing gloves so you don't leave new marks on it.
