I would rather get better speakers up front than having anything in the rear. Rear is only used for fill. For that you can use your stock speakers not hooked up to an amp.

Other than that advice i would leave the rear speakers out of the ride.

i would say your best bet, is getting a good set of components for the front, and dont bother with the rears. you could fade a little more twords the front

the perfects' are great, i have them in my front...what i did was perfects up front (hooked to a 2 channel amp from eD) and i put infinity kappas 3 way speakers in the back , un amped ...that way its a little better sound for your back passangers, but it wont cloud and mix in with your stage up front

I have to agree with the others who have said not to bother with your rear speakers, i am currently revamping my audio and i am riding with only my front channel and no subs while we are fiberglassing the enclosure...lemme tell you a good set of component speakers up front hooked up to a kickin' amp are keeping me pretty happy while i ride...

Get some nice fronts and just don't use your rears. Rear is filler, front is where your sq is

Fronts will fit 6.5". You will need new baffles, the stock ones are molded around the stock speaker. Either make your own from MDF or Crutchfield has plastic ones.

Oops, I meant speaker adapters/brackets, not baffles.

From Crutchfield (included free if bought with speakers):

Polk vs Infinity...they're both great brands and only your ears can decide which sounds better. 6.5" is the perfect size for mids imo.

Don't let anyone tell you that speaker A is the best when comparing similar speakers...audio is purely subjective to each listener. What sounds best to me may not sound the best to you

The rears are a pain the the butt to take out too. Riveted into the paneling is no good.

not riveted. 3 hex nut screws is all.

i had the infinity perfect 6.1's and they made very little bass. look at the frequency response for them. they only play down to around 80hzs, they are deffinetly not good for bass at all. but they did sound pretty nice, awesome highs and pretty good mid range, but deffinetly not much bass at all. i suggest get them and run a 10 or 12 inch subwoofer along with them and cross everything over at 80hzs.

as for the stock speakers, i really like the front speakers in my 07. the backs could be a little better but like everybody says just fade towards the front a little bit and you'll be good. but the fronts i think are really pretty good speakers, the highs are loud and clear to me. my deck is also stock i just added a 10" sub and i'm very happy with my stereo. one of my last cars i had, had a big stereo setup with the infinity 6.1's and an alpine deck and 2 amps in it and i'm very happy going from that to what i have now. that car had a little more bass but thats about it.

The front has 6.5" drivers. My head unit oddly enough doesn't have the option to fade to the front or back. You'ld expect such a thing from a top of the line head unit...

You can fade with the CD8445. I have that HU also, to fade you have to be in Normal mode, not Advanced. It shows you how in the manual.

Set the fade in Normal Mode and switch back to Advanced Mode. It should save the fader settings.

Yea Normal mode doesn't sound very good, but you can set the fader in Normal, then switch back to Advanced mode. The fader settings should still apply in Advanced.
