I managed to install a Train horn on my XB. You can't see it and no one knows it's there until you blow it.

There are a few things that might get in the way (which I don't have).

1. Fog lights might cause you a problem.
2. Rear storage needs to be empty or find another spot.

Parts list:

Cannon Ball Express Train Horn (electric solenoid)
Model 800-C high pressure compressor
Model 807-RT air tank
High pressure switch (80-110psi)
20 ft. of ¼" air hose (high pressure ice maker line works better)
12v Button
Zip ties

If anyone cares I will continue to post the rest of the directions.

I have 2 sets of Hella Supertone Horns, loud enough for me. Train Horns do friggin rock though. I'm kinda jealous.

Haha. I think pressing panic using a train horn would blow the cars away so you could find your car. :P

It cost about $350 for all the parts and extra's. I did this myself. If you like to know where I got all the parts I can help with that (or just check e-bay and seach on the part numbers).

I'm new to this forum stuff so don't be harsh.

I have placed pictures in my gallery (they only gave me 100k so they are small).
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Now that you know where I placed the horn it will only take you about 3mins to see that there is a TON of room on your car for yours.

I used tie ties to hold the horn in place while I welded on supports. I used some heavy duy ties to hold it in place. I didn't want to take any chances. I would think that they would work just fine alone. It wasn't going anywhere before I weleded it.

Now last but not least, if you purchase this horn you will have to remove the factory support and change the horns around a little bit. Just have to switch the two horns on the side. Just swap them over.

I mounted my train horn where my washer fluid tank used to be since I neve rused it and shaved the nozzles off.

And the compressor and tank are mounted beside the radiator.
