Default Exhaust options?

I'm looking to get a new exhaust for my tC, but I'm looking for a particular sound. I don't want it to be too obnoxious, I just want a nice rumble, like the sound in a g35 coupe. Is the Tanabe Concept G a good way to go with this in mind, or is there something that will sound better?

if you just want the sound and don't care about about performance, the trd exhaust sounds great. waiting at the dealership for my tc to come back from service, i noticed how much nicer my tc sounded. and it always gets complimented by passengers and pedestrians.

okay, an inline engine has the cylinders arranged in a straight line, one behind another. in a v configuration, the cylinders are arranged side by side in pairs. anyway, since the engines have completely different characteristics, they willl have different sounds, sort of how you can tell the difference between say a v6 and v8 ford mustang just by listening to the engines without looking at the cars. the trd is more of a tuned axel back exhaust designed to alter the sound of the tc without actually boosting its performance. i have it, it doesn't make the tc more powerful, but adds alot to its bite, i love revving it up.

you mean to tell me you never come to a stop at an intersection, with your car all nice shiny, and get a thumbs up from somebody waiting to cross the street? and when i was in florida just may june 05, a group of girls literally shouted shouted "we love your car" when i was rolling into my appartment complex. don't hate on me cause my tc and i know how to style and profile.

It's going to be near impossible to make it sound like a G35 but you may be able to come close. I'd suggest the Borla exhaust personally. It is a deeper sound than the TRD but not quit as loud as an Injen. It also has close to the same gains as the Injen. Just a suggestion.

Here's a lesser known option. Just unbolt the axleback you got now! With two cats in place and resonator, it doesn't sound too bad. It's actually got a pretty nice rumble. It won't sound a thing like the G35 though. More like... a baby Mustang.
