Default Carpet Mats

The only option I'm looking to get is the carpet mats, but I'm not sure $135 is worth it.. since I can get it elsewhere cheaper (such as waiting for a guy to part his tC out from an accident or something).

I'm sure most of you have the mats. Are they good strength and good meading? Not cheap/thin? Thanks.

The floormats and cargo mat are 79.06+31.86 there. Do they charge for shipping to? If they are, $135 seems easier to have them ordered with car.

The only accessory I got with my car was the mats. My dealer took care of me, so I didn't mind spending the extra $20 over ordering them online. Plus, the mats were in my car when I picked it up (not that "installation" would have been a hassle, it was just convenient.) Also, the cargo mat is nicer than the regular carpet stuff in the trunk.

I like them a lot and look forward to winter when I'll pull out the carpet panels and use them as "all-weather" mats.

Partznet is about $10 cheaper after you figure in the floor mats, cargo mat, and shipping for both. That's even assuming they don't charge sales tax. I haven't looked that far.

Luckily those of us in Arizona don't have to worry about winter. :lol

Floor mats are just something I've always gotten. I know I get ripped off, but I like them.

I ordered a set from www.mcgeorgeparts.com they were $117.43 for front 4pc set and cargo shipped . I checked www.partsnet.com they wanted $134.82 for front 4pc set and cargo shipped. They were $145.00 with the car it was worth it to save about $28.00

Luckly I have not heard of anyone that has crashed a tC yet. *knock on wood* *rubs rabbits foot* *picks four leaf clovers*...

They come with mats, but I did not use mine - the mat holds nicely without them, even with constant feet shuffling in 5-speed.

i think the original mats were nice, so i attempted to bug the dealer in giving me a free set...

Long story short, he had a set from an xB just laying there... so he gave em to me and they actually fit very well considering.... so if you're looking for a cheaper mat that has "Scion" on it, they are fine

In my opinion, the mats were well worth it.

Usually I wear through the carpeted mats with my heel, but with these, when I wear through the carpet, I can just cut out a new piece of carpet and fit it on the rubber mat.

This also makes for some sweet rice customization options.

AStroturf, diamondplate fabric, upholstered flames. Take your pick.

i got the scion mats in my xB, and after about 4-5 months and almost 5k miles they look nice, but on the drivers side they're not wearing to well....my heel is on its way to eating a hole through it! we'll have to wait and see

u spent $25 ? haha i spent 11 at kmart for some rubber grey mats for the front n back. their ok, they match the exterior and accents of the interior. i agree, the mats are going to be the most dirty part of your car. its like spending 80 on a jacket only for people to keep stepping on it, esp in winter.. but in winter i wonder how does the roof handles with snow n ice?

for tC, just take out the top part of the mat, use the bottom rubber part, i think that will handle winter pretty well unless you always have 2+ people in your car.

Lol... maybe you can work something out with this guy then:

I'm probably going to buy the Scion mats from one of online dealers. I know they're cheaper at Wal-Mart, but from what I remember, you actually have to cut them since they don't fit into carts exactly. They're more like universal mats. Plus, I'll be using the all weather part of it probably %100 of the time since I don't want the carpet portion to get really dirty. I might have to get that Wal-Mart stuff for the back though. I like the Scion one's also because of the logo and the clips.
