Hey guys, I am setting up the details for our event, but here is what I have so far.

Toy shopping spree at the Fred Meyers at Interstate and Lombard in North Portland. From there we will drive down to Swan Island and make our drop-off at the Marine base where Toys for Tots is stationed.

Anyone that wants to join us for the shopping event is welcome. I am negotiating a discount at Fred Meyers so we can get more toys for our money and they will be opening a dedicated register just for us. I will assign each person an amount to "buy" and we will all meet at the register, check out, and load up.

Give a shout if you want to join us! It will most likely be a 6PM event, but more details soon.

 

Will have to check and see if I can get that day off, dang swingshift, lol. I need to mail you some money for this too.

Hey I hope I can make this! Don't have my staff's schedule for that week yet so I'm not sure when I'm needed, but I usually work early on Tuesdays... hope to see you all!

 

OK guys, here is the schedule:

5:45PM meet at the Interstate Fred Meyer at I-5 and Lombard in the NE parking lot. At 6PM we will go in, meet the store director, grab shopping carts and start shopping. The plan is to get out of there by 7PM and then head down to Swan Island to drop the toys off at the Toys for Tots office.

I would like to see 5-10 Scions show up for this event. C'mon guys, its only a week away!

I have to work that night. Can't request that night off since I'm already taking Thursday night off.

 

I don't get off till 6:30 most i could do is meet up with you at the fred meyers for the drive to swan island but let me speak with my manager first *Edit* ok i can come cause my work is teh awesomeness

 

Yeah, the event isn't going to take very long so I would hate to have people drive 3-4 hours round trip from Seattle just for an hour-long event. I mean, if you want to come down then by all means you are invited, but it seems like a lot of driving! Don't we have 5-10 Portland Scion owners that can participate?

 

I want to do this, but with working swingshift and already taking a few days off that week for some other Scion related business, I don't think I can make it but will post up if things change.

Maybe I can get someone to cover me at work for a few hours, that might work, need to start bribing people now, lol.

 

I may be able to help. I'll let you know when it gets closer. So many things going on, family visiting and all that cheery holiday stuff!

It's a ways to drive from The Dalles after a day of work. I'm not sure I could even make it there by 5:45.
But, if there are too few Scions there, I'll see what I can do.

i get off at 5 and work right by the i-5 bridge... put me on the list... i got this one pegged... kids is gettin super cool toys this year.

Okay so I get off work at 5pm and live in SE.... I'll haul ___ to get there, but traffic that time of day may have something to say about it...
