Hey you guys I just had a quick question,

I recently got my 5,000 mile tire rotation and later that day I kept hearing a squeaking noise coming from the front left tire at about 30-40 mph and up. Any ideas as to what this might be? I took it to the dealership but I can't seem to duplicate the problem when I drive around the block it just comes up every now and then, also my suspension and tires are stock right now.

it doesn't happen when you turn? or hit a bump? or brake? just regular driving???

and how often? 'cuz you could grab one of the guys from the dealer and go more than just around the block..

I'd check the torque on the lug nuts...seriously.

how much torque should be use on lug nuts actually???

i put 80lbs since thats the max of my torque wrench... :x

hmmm u know that might just be it... i felt it had something to do with something like that... hopefully get it checked out this weekend

i heard some noise too....but not all the time

the torque on the lugnut wont create a squeeking noise on the tire. a quick check would be to see if the wheel is loose at all which you did already and to see if the rotor is not hitting the backing plate at all.
your dealer is going to have a hard time recreating this problem since it only happens now and then

Mine squeeked after a tire rotation and I found that the hubcap wasn't seated properly so I smacked it back on. the noise remained so I took the hubcaps off and the noise went away.
