Well.. I didn't wait in line for no more than 20 minutes, walked into Walmart and picked up a new Wii and Zelda.. 315 bucks after tax.

I must say... wow. And I have Metroid Prime from the game cube in right now and it's running just fine :)

I got one too! My older brother and his wife stood in two different lines and they picked one up for me. According to him, the crowds in Silverdale were real cool. No one really bothered each other, everyone made friends, and they all WALKED into the stores to get their Wiis.

The one thing I must say is that from the lines last night everyone was happy and excited...true fans! My brothers had a blast similar to when we got the 360.

It was a shame with the PS3 because Kelly & I went on Wednesday and were told we couldn't wait that early in line and that the soonest we could start lining up was Thursday at 8 am. We got there at 6 am and there was already people camped out...bastards. Then when the first guy in line kept calling friends in to cut so that he could have ALL of the store's allotment, the two managers at BEST BUY in PUYALLUP wouldn't do anything about it. They basically told Kelly & I (and the other PS3 fans) "too bad, so sad". The guy in front (and his 25 friends, family, & kids) were doing it just to sell it. They were a$$holes who could only be surmised as "swarmy" by Kelly. I hope they lose money!

Needless to say...I'm not getting a PS3 till Costco starts selling it next year and I won't buy anything at Best Buy during my holiday shopping cuz I'm ____ed at how rude and apathetic the store managers behaved.

My housemate picked up his Wii preorder last night...only like 2 people in line. Sad :(

I spent the last 5 hours playing Wii Sports and Zelda....holy crap they're fun. The new controllers make the play experience very interactive and enjoyable. Unfortunately...now I have 5 hours of homework to catch up on. Eek.

Well I must say that the Wii experience has been a awesome adventure and a weird learning curve. I will say that this is the best gaming experience ever. The fact you can actually do the battles and get heavily into it (Zelda is a perfect example of this) made this system even more so intense. Racing games are also going to be a blast! I can only give Nintendo some heavy props for bringing this system out.

Yeah, Silverdale was very cool from what I heard. The few people that were in line at the Walmart in Pousbo where I got mine was a walk into the gaming section, picked one up, walked out and I wasn't even sweating getting mugged :) The experience vs what was seen and heard of the PS3 added a heavy distaste, even though the system is very nice, i'll pick me up a 360 before hand... :)

The wii is so awesome.

I waited 10 hours in Sequim for mine lol. So cold out too, wind was blowing big time. I was number 9 of 20. About 10 people got denied. It was well worth the wait, im a nintendo whore at heart.

Wii sports is the family favorite. My mom loves to play tennis against me.
I'm playing through Zelda and dinking around with Madden. Madden is very fun with the new control scheme.

Make sure you get me your code though. Eventually we'll have online games to play together. Sending messages is cool the disc try lights up and blinks blue till you open your mail, if the system is on standby.

how do you add and where is the #?

You go to the bottom right corner and click the circle, mail button.

Then you click the second from the bottom left button.

After that click the far right address book. If you have no friends yet it should show your wii number. Right that down to give to people.

Then click register, and click wii.

Add our numbers, then give us yours. If we dont exchange numbers we can't see each other. You have to exchange numbers to send each other messages.

I couldn't look at the youtube... needed to log in and I've had problems registering.

My husband still has his 3DO. The games won't work in it but it still plays CDs and it makes these "awesome" graphics on the screen when you do. He's a very simple man.
