Default New Sub box.. need help

This is the new sub box i designed... nothing really crazy.. just wanted to see what everyone thought of this design before i started building it.. if u need any other views i can post those as well.. the dimensions are for an xb. i just need to know if u guys like it.. or if it looks retarded... btw its for two 12's and its still a work in progress.. kinda wanna incorperate an amp rack near the top.. we'll see tho

The box design looks cool, but the main thing you need to keep in mind before you go building this is that the enclosure should be tailored to whatever woofer you plan on running. Every different type of woofer performs differently and has special requirements for optimum performance. Most manufacturers offer a basic box design that shows you the optimium volume and type of enclosure for the woofer to perform at its best. This is extremely important! The best woofer in the world will sound like $#!t and could even be damaged if it is installed in the wrong enclosure.

This is true, but I wasn't going to comment on that. I just assumed either the person would be using something other than MDF, *cough* fiberglass *cough*, or would have to be a whiz with a table saw. I certainly wouldn't enjoy trying to get those angles right.

it is made to be fiberglass... and the dimensions make it just the right volume for the subs i'm putting in.. two infinity ref1252w
