Well I got fed up with the tC. It's seriously got to be the biggest piece of crap I've ever owned... I don't know why I ever even bought it. I decided to trade it in on this beyooootiful piece of work right here....





I can't believe I didn't get one of these instead, it's friggin awesome!!! So, bye bye tC... helloooooooooooo Matrix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



















Just kidding. I dropped off my tC just a few minutes ago to get the airbag recall done. It hasn't even been an hour and I'm already missing my car. I can't pick it up until tomorrow, because I'm working 1-9 tonight I'm goin nuts already

Yeah, if there was a disappointment in Toyota's current lineup, it'd be the Matrix, not the tC

 

damn dude you had me going, I have an xb but I do gots mad respect for the tc, I was gonna do a similar thread like this when They gave me a rental while my car was being worked on, hhahahah good one dude!
I think I have only seen one Matrix that looked ok, and it was still an eyesore.

Though the Matrixes (Matricies?) are nice, I couldn't see trading a tC for one.

Hmm... I haven't received my recall notice yet though. I wonder what I'll get to drive around!

i was seriously thinking of buying a matrix...but they didnt have anymore 5speeds...then the guy showed me a tc....next thing you know i got hooked...and yes the matrix does look wierd now haha..

 

I was looking at Matrices too. The Corolla, tC and Matrix are all roughly in the same price range so I weighed between the three a lot. Of the three, the Matrix definitely seemed like the worst deal. It was about $2k more to get it comparably equipped, and what really got me was that cheap ___ interior. The Corolla S's interior is my favorite of the three, I like (but don't love) the tC's interior, but the Matrix interior is just crap.

The Matrix XRS is the only matrix i somehwat like. Im not a huge fan of the wagon look, but the xrs comes with the bigger engine, VVTL-i and 6speed. The interior as stated above it kinda crappy feeling/looking but meh. My best friend has one so yeah xD Its a nifty little car. And it pulls on the tC Started pulling on me at 65-70, the matrix being stock and i have intake/exhaust.

 

omg you got me too.. i was like. . um.. . eww. lol. the matrix is a purty cool car, ill give it that, but im not a big wagon person as well (ok ok maybe the xB..lol) but i give it up for the power house it has (XRS). :D good laugh!

 

Oh this one was an xr... with the 3 speed automatic... I don't think it could have gotten out of it's own way honestly lol. I was SOOOOOOOOO glad to have my tC back.
