I just got my new tC and hope u guys can give me feedback.

1. What type of gas should i fill my tank up with?

2. When should i get my first oil change?, should i also rotate tire along w/ change?

 

87 is recommended. anything more will do nothing but cost more $$

i stick to the 3 month/3000 mile mindset. The owners manual says 5k though.

I rotate every 2 changes.

DIY oil changes are easy on this car. Use up the first 3 free ones, and then DIY from then on to save yourself some $$

 

Assuming its stock use 87 and Toyota says change the oil at 5k miles. I usually look at 3k and see how it is. Its all in the manual. Give it a look its got maintance schedules and everything you need to know to get started with taking care of it.

I try not to let my oil go over 4k miles. It's really not that hard to change so it's not an inconvenience.

 

when i used 87 it seemed like my car would shake a lil....then when i used 93 it runs smooth and use mobile1 5w-30 synthetic every 3000 miles
