it was raining here..so i thought of spinning tires since the road was wet....in the middle of my 3rd or prolly fourth burnout...when it reached like around 5k-5500 rpms i heard something snap or a popping sound...a loud one...i thought it was my axle or sumthing i still dont knoe whut it might be...im just scared to drive on the freeway tomorrow u noe sumthing might come off or sumthin...so please tell me what to check or sumthing...please!!thanks...

 

Check the bracket/mount for your Injen Intake. They are known to snap.

 

If there was a crackle as well you may have had a bowl of rice crispies in your car.


It could be your differential pin.

 

Check:

Axle
Rim
Intake Bracket
Body parts such as Bumper.

As Soros151 said if you hear anymore sounds I would take it to your dealer or mechanic and have them check it out. What kind of mods do you have done?

 

Check your engine and trans mounts. You might have blown a mount out. Do you have a lot of drivetrain movement?

 

you sure it wasnt just wheelhop?

 

yea ill prolly check the intake mount....and no it wasnt wheel hop...it was a loud snap...i didnt hear anything today while i was driving...thanks...
