dose anybody on here use a roof rack to carry a lader? wich one do you use? I need to get one soon but i want it to be removeable and cheep. anyone?

You can use it with just the crossbars to carry stuff. 160 lb. load ratin, too. I don't know about expense. I just bought new bars and a new fit kit for about $100. LoadedAgain 11-29-2006, 01:21 AM I have a Yakima. One advantage that I didn't know about until after the purchase is that 1/2 inch black pipe fits *perfectly* into the round cross bars.
