I'm from Maine as well, and I'm assuming the xA doesn't come with one available? I don't intend to go offroading with this thing, but as I'm sure jynx knows, it's so easy to hit stuff on the road. For example, chunks of ice that build up and fall off people's cars, dead animals on the highway that you don't have time to swerve around, etc.
I personally do not want to buy a new car and have the exhaust damaged in the first couple of years. I'm getting a new car so I DON'T have to repair it all the time.

i believe rallyxb made one for his car out of some sort of diamond plate.

sheet aluminum, you could tie it together at the sumframe mounting point but i would think a little mini tube frame connecting to the front bumper underpinnings wouldnt be a bad idea either
