Setting up my xB as my new shop car....
Just opened up a fab shop and thought it would be a good idea to make my xB standout, i really dont want to go too crazy on it. It is my daily untill i finish my other cars.
Heres my thoughts so far.
Power Enterprise S/C kit.
Factory R.S. 2.0 exhaust
Ill make my own header and intake.
clutch upgrade, as mine is already shot from using 4 slicks when i auto-x.
prob port and knife edge my t-body.
Port and polish the head, its nice having a flow bench :D.
I once heard that you can upgrade the cams using the stock MRS cams... true?
Ditch my 15in buddy clubs and im getting some CCW wheels custom made in 17x7 front and 17x8 rear in a custom low offset.
ditching my Hotchkis suspension and im looking into some airbag kits, anybody have any say on whats a good brand?
Carbon fiber hood and hatch.
Im painting my roof a flat black, just like the euro spec VW GTi's come with.
I already painted my factory R.S. grille and tail lights in House of Kolor paints so thats done.
I have a very werid taste when it comes to cars, im very old school and very clean and simple.
its the VW and Datsun in me i guess.
anybody have any thoughts?
im open to anything.
Mike

if your doing custom wheels with low offset. Get atleast 17x8 fronts or even 8.5 and get 8.5 rear or 9. Should give u a nice little lip there if that is the look you are going for. Everything else sounds nice.
as far as bags go, air ride technologies makes a kick ___ kit...I dont know from personal experience, but I have seen other air ride tech. kits on other cars (muscle cars and fullsize trucks) and they are the shiznit.....and as far as handling goes, Ive read redports where a bagged car pulled more G's than a tradional sprung car....just my 2 cents.........and here's two links for ya..........

Air Ride Technologies does not make, and does not plan to make a suspension kit for the xB. There has been one xB air suspension built integrating Air Ride Technologies components. It was done by a shop that sells their products, not by ART themselves. And the integration of their products was sub par at best. (Sorry if this offends the current owner of that car.)
If you are really interested in an air suspension system post up in the suspension forum. And before asking questions, read through this post... https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=106196
