Default OPINION....19 or 20

I just really wanted to know if 20" rims rubbed a lot on a tc.....Because I could play it safe with the 19/8or 8.5 but I like the way that the 20"s look...But basically if any1 has them, do they rub on turns????(I know they rub on dips but so do 19's so im not worried about that)

I say go with 19's. That is the perfect size for the tC IMO.

^Yeah
For the price of 4 20" wheels and tires I bet you could get some 18s, tires, and lowering springs.

19's or 20's huh, id say neither stick with 18's.
you gotta keep in mind; tire wear, turining, rims bending/denting easily, also performance loss.

Just to be save, 18'

Also, if you were go back to dealership for suspension repair, the repair might not be under warranty because of aftermarket wheels. But, since it's 18', you might be able to talk to them about the issue since Scion do offer 18' wheel for the tC.

Just a thought, 19' looks sick on a tC.

when i change out my stock wheels, i'm getting lightweight 17's with sticky tires. big wheels are just more unsprung weight, increase rotational mass and have no performance benifits, and will look just fine with the lowering springs. also, your speedometer and odometer will still be correct.

I have seen 20s on one and it seriously looks like a 4-runner I would ONLY go with bigger diameter wheels if you lowered the car...otherwise you will get made fun of by import and domestic enthusiasts alike

Is it really true that 19s are more expensive the 20s because less people order 19s? Supply and demand?

absolutly not.

they're about 50 bucks less a rim and then tires is where u save.

same tire in a 225/30/20 is 60 bucks more.

so 200+240. saving 440 a set. not to mention 20's are just gigantic and unnecessary

LMAO at looking like a 4 runner. I am running 20's, have been for almost a 1.5 years. Never bent a rim, never tore up a fender. I can garauntee that I am alot lower then 90% of you also. I daily drive this car, so no excuses there.

That may be true, but you do get 'mad props' from the offraod and truck enthusiasts.

"Dang! A lifted Scion! Nice."

seriously??? Were not driving BIG SUV's. Its a small 2dr car and your gonna run 20's with it??? With a body kit (which i dont like) 19's will be a good choice. But running 20's, thats where we enter a different bracket. I personally love the tC with 18's and an exceptional drop. After seeing a few with 19's on stock suspension it kinda made me wish i never saw it.

But i guess to each their own and its not my car.....

just my 2cents.
