well i started my new project yesterday and this is how far i am....









its going BSP should be finished painting tomorrow..i'll take pix of it in paint and then if i get it put back together tomorrow i'll have pix of it together. let me know if you think it will look good bad, comments, whatever you really want to say lol.

Dude its gonna be so SWEET!! I know somewhere online they sell them smooth layovers ready for paint.

But I would rather have my own u know how gaps go on massw produced thangs

yeah i saw taht...but like you said...layover gaps = trouble. i will have cleared sanded and then re cleared a third time today. to make it smooth instead of bumpy like the texture is normally. i think its going to look pretty good. i dunno if i'll have it back on today but i will definetly take pix of it in the booth.

WOW! I like and am picturing it envy green! I was thinking it was going to be all one color not two tone though. Got to say I like alot though.

 

he had the 24K gold already done beforehand those are all pies the major dash piece is BSP and BADA$$ awesome man

 

Do you not want to sand it down to the flat surface and get rid of the bumps.

 

it is flat...the bumps are under the paint/clear...it looks REALLY cool in person. i just sanded the clear..then re cleared it...then sanded that coat...then re cleared it so its flat on the top but you still can see the texture underneeth.

 

Oh okay looks great no doubt about that. I just was not sure if it still felt like it was bumpy. Great work dude

 

nope its smoooooooth. but the texture underneeth kinda gives it this off carbon fiber look to it...im not sure how to describe it really...its cool.

 

looks sweet, but wont you get like mad glare?
