Default dirty tC's

so, this is probably kind of an odd request, but i was wondering if anyone would be willing to post pictures of your tC after going a while without washing it. i'm specifically looking for Flint Mica, Silver Streak Metallic, and Classic Silver Metallic here. Reason being: I'm debating between the FM and CSM tC, and I want to see what a difference there is in upkeep. I definitely like the FM better, but the practical side of me says to settle for the CSM because it's going to be easier to maintain. So....if you have any pictures of your FM or CSM in its unwashed state, please post them, along with how long its gone unwashed in the picture. Try to be creative about it. Do things like run your finger through the dust to show how noticeable it is, take closeups, distant shots. I know it's going to be sort of difficult for a picture to show how dirty a car is, so try to help me out with that.

I'm particularly interested to see a FM tC that's gone unwashed for around 2 weeks, with lots of different kinds of pictures.

Actually FM's don't show dirt as much as the other colors, IMO. A friend of mine has to drive thru a swamp or something to get to his house so his FM is always caked in dirt and it still looks good even though its dirty.

I have a FM and it shows the dirt alot. If you want a color that doesn't show dirt then I would suggest silver. I wash mine every week cause I don't like it dirty anyways, but I did this with all my cars no matter what color.

HAHA i wonder who you could be talking about??? But yeah FM isn't that bad dirty, however silver is the best for hiding dirt. My friend has a silver grand prix that hasn't been washed since april and when we park beside each other at work, his almost always looks cleaner, unless its the day after i wash mine.

I drive a FM and it looks OK dirty but you can definatly see that it needs washed (a lot), but my wifes AP will look fine.

lol, Jeremy. Yeah, his car doesn't look bad when dirty. But Silver is a better choice if you're really that worried about hiding dirt.

my FM gets dirty but you can only see it when your really close to it. Other than that it looks like it just got a wash. I just use my California Car Duster (works wonders) when i feel like it needs it.

*Go with FM, you wont be dissapointed!*

yeah, the silver is a great color for hiding dirt cause it doesn't look dirty, just alittle less shiny. looks clean until you get up close and actually inspect it.

I know you didn't ask this but I'll tell you anyway.

Of all of the cars that I have seen and had, white ( whether you want to believe it or not ) stays the cleanest looking the longest. ( I've had three white cars before my SW tC. )

Dark colors have the obnoxious ability to look dirty even after you spend hours cleaning them.

Silver isn't bad but, if I was going to choose I would take the lighter of the two for the reason mentioned above.

QFT -

but... if you don't plan on taking care of the car, why wouldn't you just opt to buy something used?
