Ok. I know nothing really about wiring. But I heard its fairly simple so I ordered this LED kit that a friend recommended. However...he's in the air-force now and hard to get ahold of for help! So i'm relying on you guys!

This is what i picked up.

as you see.. it comes with power wire with inline fuse and a control box (so its unnecessary for me to wire it to a switch). I just need to know where i can easily splice it in the T.c. So basically theres the Positive and Negative wires. Gotta figure out how to get them in somewhere ..using a crimp or i have no clue. I am seriously lost. and my friend in a Civic says just stick to installing performance parts. but hey...i'm tryin new beginnings however this is looking way slim :nails:

Thanks so much.

wire it anywhere that has power....

perhaps tap power from the cig lighter? or wherever in the fuse box...

and then you can ground it anywhere...

You can wire it to the cigarette lighter as Trung said. Be sure to make a good connection if you are going to splice (no scotch tape - I've seen that before. Use electrical tape or heat shrink or insulated wire crimps). BTW, I'm in Tustin if you want to stop by and get it done professionally. :)

thanks so much. I'll try to figure it out. For sure, if I'm on tour or playing shows near you.. I'll just drive up there myself and get some LED work done. Once again. Thank you both!

No problem. I was actually talking about getting your kick panel lights professionally installed, but I can also do some other LED work. :)
