My lowered tC is like a snow plow in this weather!!!!
I hope my underbody kit is still there

Anybody else get smacked with one hell of a snow dumpping?

 

Maybe someone sells a CF front lip-snow plow

 

I am lucky I decided not to put the Fiberglass lip kit on the car. That would be in the street a few miles back!

 

I'm in Downers Grove and had to drive to work at 8 in to morning. We got around 5-6 inches. Good luck going anywhere. I got stuck 5 times leaving my subdivision because the roads weren't plowed. My car is stock height without a lip kit and I was ramming snow clumps all over the road.

 

I live on Route 59 2 miles from the store and it took me 25 minutes to get here today!

 

Surprisingly, once I got out of my subdivision it only took me 35 minutes to get to work compared to the normal 25-30. There wasn't any traffic, so even with 3 inches of snow on 63rd, I went the same pace.

 

LMAO try riding a stechs and goign to school when nothing has been plowed yet!

lucky... took me 30 min just to get out of my sub division... i live in a dead end where you cant see the houses from the main road so no one thinks there is anything important back there...

Lucky. My fiancee's mom has a Hyundai Sante Fe and her sister has a Lexus RX330 and both of them stayed home today, but could I take there cars, nope. They were both making excuses like "I have to go here and blah blah." So I just left all ____ed off and stared at them as they watched me get stuck 5 times going down the streets. Jerks.

 

Yeah, my work is at the bottom of a big hill. It took me 1 1/2 hrs to get home last night. I live 2 miles away from work. That's an average of 1.3mph!!

 

1.5 hrs... WoW that sucks! I bet that was very nerve racking!

I got lucky on the second half of my commute and stayed behind a snow plow. I was cruising past everyone. Luckily it wasn't one of the ones with a salt sprayer behind it too.

You're probably the same kind of person who follows the EMS and Fire trucks so you can make all the lights...

 

We got dumped on this morning. Out of every university in the Milwaukee area, MSOE is the ONLY one open. And I go to MSOE . Took me 2 hrs to get to school, which is normally a 25min drive. All in all the tC is a really good car in the snow. (Mine is not lowered)

 

Nah, I know better than that. You have any idea how big the fine is for that? I may follow from a distance, but not close enough to interfere with anything, though I have been tempted before.

 

Stay 500-1000 feet behind of the EMS vehicles

 

We got about 10 inches of snow here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I haven't taken my car out yet but the main roads have been plowed.
