Well this maybe a little too late, but there was supposably only 50 avalible spots for this show and they are already filled. Dagarhart recieved a PM from 1point6 saying this. In the original post up top Dagarhart did post a copy of the pm. Just wanted to get this out there before all the West Siders that were planning on showing dont show up and get dissapointed.

 

I also received a PM from 1point6 and this is what it said

"The show is full sorry. Look for the Kiwanis park meet in January. TONS of spaces there.

I didnt organize this meet, and was given tons of misinfo by the promoters."

I really hope everyone that wanted to show doesnt show up and be upset. I know some of yall are driving pretty far for this.

 

Sorry guys. I got the news out as soon as I confirmed. I had asked what time we should show up and I got the response:

"I contacted the original organizer of the meet today.

Apparently there was a huge mixup with the people putting on the event, there are only like 50 show spots to enter the "show your car for trophies" portion, then there is a huge parking lot for anyone and everyone to park and show off the car.

It is going to be a good time, with free food, good people and prizes. But not a TON of show spaces. Sorry for the confusion.

Since this is a huge mix-up, this is why I organized the kiwanis park meet. This way, everyone can get together.

I will post this is the thread also."

That is when I asked the questions:

"So are you saying there is not any room for us? If so, that is okay. Or is it first come first server? If so, what time should people show? You might want to post that in a forum other than the Kawanis (sp?) meet post. You might want to put the info in the actual show post."

And that is when I got this response:

"Yeah i updated it today. There are tons of parking spaces, but the show area is only 50 spaces and I guess they are filled."

Anyway, I know a lot of people were getting their cars ready tonight and as soon as I got back from the other show tonight and got the above message, I started contacting those I could contact.

I hope this gets to people before they make the trip to "show" their cars.

I am sure it will be a great show, but it would have been nice to get it out there and clear before people worked so hard on their cars.

Some people are just unorganized. Expressing my personal opinion, The kiwanis show looks like it will be relax and fun to be, but looking into the VinelWerkx show. I dealt with Daniel the owner of Vinelwerkx a couple of times and he doesn't seem to be on the ball. For that reason alone I am not attending his event. Sux for the people who showed up and got regected.
