Default Megan Lowering Springs

I am looking at getting the Megan Lowering Springs and it lowers and overall 1.8" and I was wondering if that will be a problem since I have 18" rims. And the tires are 215/45/18. I don't think that should be a big deal but I would rather not have my tires shredded over the first bump. Has anyone had the same size rims and the same drop?

You may have problems with that size tire if they are 18's. That is the size for 17's. 18's use 215/35/18 so depending on the offset of your rims you may have rubbing issues.

i've got the megan springs, you'll get a 2" drop in the front and about 1.75" in the rear, i'm also running 18" rims with 225/40/18's they rub just a little in the front if you turn the wheel all the way, but other than that no problems in the rear have about 1/2" from fender to rubber in the rear.

No problem. You should be fine then with whatever spring you go with but I'd stick with the tiens over the megans

I personally have the Megan Racing Springs. 2" front 1.75" rear. You should be fine with the drop.

I can't compare the two but i did have TRD 1" springs previous to the Megan Racing.

Get the Tein's for comfort. Megan racing for handlings.

From what I've heard the Teins have a more proven track record but you can choose whatever you want like what TJ wrote.

i bought the megan's for the price, i don't think it changed the stock ride to much, i've lowered many of my rides in the past and got that " low rider bounce " no bounce with the megans, you can't tell from the ride that it's lowered, i got mine from www.robearracing.com think i paid $139.00 for the set of 4, had them in like 2 days
