I wouldn't be surprised, I've been suspecting the Auris to be the new xD for a while now. I think it's ok but I also think Scion could do better.

My thoughts:
Front - 4/5
Side - 3/5
Rear - Unsure
Interior 6/5 !AWESOME!

Can't wait to know for sure.

I like it. I might even trade my xB for it.

I love the interior and the exterior is quickly growing on me.

I just traded one of those in for my new RS4. Oh no wait that was a Mazda3 Hatch.

I think I like it but it looks a bit on the heavy side (from the real-world pictures)...Isn't the xD supposed to be whole NEW vehicle that isn't sold anywhere else? If so, this defeats any chance of us getting the Auris.

perhaps a design with the auris in mind? or maybe the same platform... dunno..

we won't know until next year for sure.

it is an all new vehicle. i'm pretty sure it's the auris just with the 1.8single vvti versus the auris's current best or 1.6 dual vvti. allthough the 1.6 dual vvti is probably just as good if not better than the single vvti 1.8

I think the Yaris will always be a hatchback/sedan model. I thought the Auris would be the new Corolla but I guess not.

It looks OK to me, but it doesn't look as unique as the current xA. I don't like the front. It has the "new" Toyota front look with the bump for the logo (the logo looks like an afterthought).

The interior does look nice except the shifter seems like it is too far forward and too high. I think that is kind of like the Matrix is today.

At any rate, I'm not impressed with it. It seems like a decent car, but not like something that would replace the xA. I wish the xA replacement would have been no bigger than the current xA, just with updated styling and maybe just enough increase in size to fit the 1.8L engine. This should have been a Yaris 5 door or a Toyota Corolla hatchback.

i curious to see what a base model will look like. this one looks nice and looks like it could be a third or fourth car i could have.

Don't know which dealer lots you've been looking at, but we can't keep them on ours at all. Great selling car.

Actually the Yaris is doing very well on the market. 3 of my local dealers very rarely even have one on the lot, I've only seen one once. What makes you think they're selling bad?

yeah the yaris is a WAY hot seller.

We had waiting lists during the summer on Yaris...they are a hot mover when we can get them

If it wasn't so damn noisy with city driving I would've bought one, the dealer had the exact one I wanted on the lot too.

I've seen a number of Yari (would that be the plural?) that I like. All 3-doors. The black, white, or red all look good. Tint makes it all betta, too. Don't care for the sedan really. Still, and I say this all the time.....give us a diesel.
