Default Killed 2 more cars on the way home.

I dont know what the deal is but on the way home from school at about 11:00 P.M. everyone wants to race me. Tonights fist contestant was a pontiac grand am I think it had ram AIR. I raced him throught 2 lights I beat him hardcore at the first light after I got to far ahead he slowed down, but he was back at the next light again he lost again. Towards the end of the second race I see ligths coming on fast an I think ____. COP. But it was a new civic and he wanted in on the fun. So we were all 3 at the light and the civic even pulled the grandam. I of course beat them both. the grandam exited and at the next light the civic gave mad props. I love this scion its got ***** stock.

There is no such thing as being safe when you race on the streets

imo, cops should spend more time going after real criminals, murders, rapiest, theives, drug dealers, and drunk drivers, who cares if a couple of people do some redlight drag racing late at night on open streets?

Aren't SIs and tCs well ... equal? I am pretty sure they are. I mean, they have almost identical quarter mile and 0-60s. I think a tC will take it from the line, but then it will catch up later.

And ... isn't the point of a cop giving a ticket kinda the same principle behind negative reinforcement? Do something bad and get punished ... do it often enough and supposedly the negative consequences make you stop the bad habit ... but tickets suck ... and ... mean cops suck. haha. Good kills btw.

yes, yes, i know all about classical training and operant conditioning, and so on. if it was just paying a fine, that was it, then i'd have no problem, but this stupid bs with points is what grinds my gears.

i mean, looks, if i'm speeding through a school zone durring a day and weave by school buses with there stop signs out, then yes, ticket me, and so on, that is wrong, but opening up a car at night on empty streets is a victimless crime. meanwhile drunk drivers don't stop until it is too late. houses get robbed, joggers go missing all because johnny law is busy pulling me over for speeding late at night on an empty road endangering the dwindling population of deer in this country. prioritize people!

Haha, I kind of agree ... geeez, they just get bored, get off their backs! Hahaha, kidding, I had an officer make me wait and get a ticket for speeding when i was taking my brother to the hospital with a broken leg. Yeah, didn't even offer an escort ... _______. I fought it though and me and the judge go way back, so it was thrown out, lol. But still. I even had the blood on my floor board to prove it ...

Oh, and I am pretty sure deer are not dwindling ... that's why we LIKE it when they die. LOL. At least here, they are a PITA.

what is your point? that was a fatal automobile collision, one, where and when was this incident?

i'm not gonna deny that there are dangerous people out there who drive like maniacs through residential neighborhoods, that is wrong, i agree 100%. but i am talking about fun runs late at night on empty stretchs of roads while most people are in bed and off the road.

Very close, but not quite equal. I actually think the Si would get the better launch then the tC would catch up.

Si vs tC
197hp vs. 160hp
139tq. vs. 163tq.
2877lbs. vs. 2905lbs.
6speed vs 5speed
0-60 (7.2 sec) vs. (7.5 sec)
1/4 mile (15.6 sec) vs. (15.7 sec)

especially since the si has an lsd while we tc drivers are more likely to get a peg-leg start.

and i know deer aren't dwindlin, lol, the best thing i ever saw on the news was they plan to make a hunting season in moco. which i say is about time! i'm no hunter, but seriously, why are we not killing a large animal that eats from gardens and farms and has a tendency to stand infront of oncoming headlights?

From the first link...

Police said Monaco was apparently racing with another vehicle on southbound Elkton Road prior to the crash.
Here is the original story... http://cbs3.com/local/local_story_315182022.html click on play on the right hand video clip...

I know that the individual involved isn't on this forum, but is on another forum that i use to be on pretty often, quite often posted video's and post of "kills" from his weekend of street racing.

Point being? No matter how safe you think you are being... the streets are the place for racing... hopefully it doesn't take something like this happening to you to realize it
