Agency Power has always engineered products to provide a gain in performance, while offering a stylish alternative to enhance your vehicles appearance. The latest product from the Agency Power line up is this complete catback exhaust system for the Scion TC. What separates this from the competition is that the exhaust is a complete catback. Most exhausts on the market are only axle back. This system is complete 321 stainless steel with thick flanges. The piping is all 2.25 inch in diameter and fully polished. The exhaust includes amazing tig welds, mandrel bends, precision hangers, and a resonator for the perfect sound. The muffler is lightweight titanium burnt to offer a deep colorful look. The tip is 3.5 inch with the Agency Power logo laser etched and titanium as well.

The exhaust system was tested on an Automatic 2006 Scion TC. Using a Mustang AWD Dyno, we were able to get 6 wheel horsepower and 10ft/lbs of torque. Results for the manual car will be hiring. The complete catback offers a great race sound for the Scion TC. Please check out our video clip below.

u really think theres a difference? the difference i see is the "silencer" on the muffler tip that can be removed... and the tsudo seems to have a bigger tip diameter

ohh i think u might mean the rainbow on the muffler, well then i guess there u win, but otherwise not...

Revilo
12-06-2006, 04:41 AM
about the gains... there are not impresive... to be a full catback should be better gains... the GReddy's exhausts are getting 6hp and they are axlebacks...

soros151
12-06-2006, 05:04 AM
Maybe because this is an auto?

tC9o9
12-06-2006, 05:33 AM
bronx.. the muffler is titanium that is why it is soo much money.

plus, your comparing ebay quality to high quality. not dissin on the tsudo or anything.. i like both

soros151
12-06-2006, 05:44 AM
I wouldn't call Tsudo as ebay quality, but yhea both are in different categories. Ti is like the holy grail of racing materials; because of it's weight and maybe thermal capacity. Does anyone know if this material helps in keeping heat in the exhaust's path? 2.25 is good for more low end torque, because of exhaust velocity. 2.5" is good after 2,700-3,000 RPMs. loosing torque below that.

ohh i think u might mean the rainbow on the muffler, well then i guess there u win, but otherwise not...

the differance is in the design and quality. not jus tthe looks.

hmmm for a catback thats kind of too little in power gains...for 700$ id rather get the ark cat back, dyno'd at 12-16 whp added

what diameter is the Ark?

I'm pretty sure you will not get 12-16 whp under the same conditions.

On a stock auto tc with no other mods...

I think 6-7 horses is more believable.

I could be wrong though. Just my thought.

Bump for a great exhaust!!!

More power than the stock system.

It's a shame no one ever dynoed the megan drift spec exhaust because when I put it on, I definately felt a large gain. That one is 2.5" all the way.

soros151
12-06-2006, 04:14 PM
I got 2.5" too.

Dyno results and sound clips will be posted tomorrow.

The can is not for everyone, but it definitely sets your car apart from the rest!

The Ti can is surprisingly light too! I will have additional information tomorrow.

***I will tell you now that it sounds nasty!***

***It does sit at a slight angle upon exit***

***2.5 inch tubing makes for good power and no rasp***

***Price is TBD***

Well, is it 2.25 or is it 2.5? Not that I care or anything because I passed picking an exhaust out some time ago, but it would for sure benefit those who are seeking an exhaust to clarify what size piping it runs. As wether or not you are going F/I or staying N/A matters a great deal on pipe diameter.

Agency-Power and Vivid Racing are two different companies. We are both in the same building and collaborate with each other for warehouse space, dyno testing, and product development. There are also three other tenants who share this building. Since I work at AP any problems are handled by me! I am on AIM under “APGeoff” for at least 10 hours a day. I will always be here for customer service related issues.

^^^ Bingo Agency Power is CRAP!!!!^^^ Go buy an APC muffler and you will have the same quality.

I see that you are from Colorado. Where do you get your car worked on? I have a strong network of dealers in that state who will attest that our products are quality and customer service is top notch. Just ask Chris at RX Motorsports, Tommy at Street Concepts, Lucas at Carz Custom, Tai at Cor Sport, and Bill at MAC auto. These are all my satisfied dealers in the state of CO alone.

If you have every had a bad experience with me or the Agency-Power products I can understand, but since you both dont even own our products your posts are inconclusive.

The exhaust tubing for the tC exhaust is 2.25in. The piping is 321 stainless steel. We chose to make our system from 321 because 321 is stabilized by Titanium (321) and/or Niobium (347). These grades are used because they are not sensitive to intergranular corrosion after heating. Grade 321 is the grade of choice for applications in high temperature ranges. Combining high strength, resistance to scaling and phase stability with resistance to subsequent aqueous corrosion, make this the perfect choice.

The muffler and tip are completely Ti. We agreed upon titanium because of its weight and strength characteristics. The finish is burnt for aesthetic value. (Also to let everyone know that you have a Ti exhaust)

Funny I talk with Tai on a daily basis. I am not here to drag you into a BS argument. Also you stated that you werent sure if SL was the place to sell you stuff. Now go drag my name into the mud that you have played in for years! I have a reputation with people who know me and know who I work for and I can see you cant say that now can you? Also How did you look up my order with no NAME?

BOXMAN
12-06-2006, 11:01 PM
Thanks for the link on the sponsorship. Agency-Power is a manufacturer not a dealer. We do not sell directly to the public. Our dealer network is in charge of moving our products for us. I was the first one with the pics of the new exhaust. Our scion dealers were slow to post up the new pics so I created the account. I am not on here to sell to the public I am here to let your community know about our new product. We will be advertising on the forums, but have yet to decide on which ones. To be honest we would not benefit from the sponsored classifieds since we don’t sell direct. Could you work up a price for just a banner with our logo to run on your site?

Direct from AP's mouth. You benefit from people buying your products right? Well then pay to play buddy!

Ok, first of all, if you wer ein any way a respectable retailer, you wouldnt be acting like a kid that dropped his ice cream cone and posted on the forums with a look-i-told-you-so attitude. There is no reason to post his PRIVATE messages, hence the name PRIVATE. and dont start wit the i took the time to call blah blah,, BS, we can read between the lines...i dont care if nobody recalls, you never had the mans name!
let me play a sad song for you on my lil-violin

and do not try to outsmart us by saying this the info stated was out of date and that you got a new address, dont matter if u got a new address your still owned by the same damn company! dont play games, cause we can play games too

you can keep ur $700 BS exhaust anyway

ALL good companies bend over ___ backwards for the consumer, not come online and post bs in forums...take urself out of the situation next time, or ignore it

nice way to sell a product pal, its companies like yours that try to outsmart your sole reason for existance(aka US) that irk me
